I go here and love it, the coast walks,, the fresh air, ok its like most places a little run down , shops shut ect,, it has a good history, the ppl were fine, 😁
I grew up in Sheerness i went to the comp, then yts in Sittingbourne. It's a dump... Says me now living in a 10th floor North Manchester council tower block. Love your video you make it look nicer than I remember it!!!

It does have one great views. It’s the sight you get in your rear view mirror as you leave the place
I used to be a volunteer for the lifeboat and had rocks thrown at us as we were rescuing kids at Leysdown. Nice
In 1976 worked in warners holiday camp in Sheerness. Didn't think much of the area and some of the younger workers who were from the area were a bit rough.
Quite low annual rainfall. 711mm. All it needs, is an estate agent to add…on Sea to Sheerness and the place is in business

That island had so much going for it but blew it. The second bridge completed in 2005 came way too late.
When I was a kid there was this "" lion hope"" project, that failed. Olau line pulled out, Klippon, Abbots laboratories, British steel all left. That's why that island is a pit these days.

Another little less known fact is sheerness docks is home to the UK only Scorpion 🦂.
Blue town. Was the Navy town back in the day. Sheerness Steel was in that area, once the government sold it all off sheerness like all other towns in the UK became unemployed.

There is plenty going for our wonderful little island, if only people would highlight the good more, like the wildlife, beaches and community. It could be so much better if we weren't treated as second fiddle to Sittingbourne, the councils no1 play thing!

Marine Parade just up the road from the Broadway is below sea level, the seawall, the beach is higher than the second floor flats there!! 😅
I live in marine parade in a 3 storey town house , I can assure you my front door is above sea level , not the sea wall . but the view from our 2nd floor dinner & 3rd floor bedroom is stunning
If you seriously think this is the worst place in Kent then you haven't seen anything, I have lived all over Kent and Sheerness beats them all hands down, if your going to slag off a place do your research first.

The point of the video is to highlight that despite its reputation it is not a bad place at all!
