Got mine about a month ago when my 17 year old Simplicity Prestige finally died. Love it!!! We have about 3 acres of open land with just a house and swing set to mow around. It used to take me 90+ minutes to mow everything, now it takes about 60, and that's doing fancy, alternating, cross-cuts! Love Simplicity! The 2 Simplicity's that my grandparents bought in 1967 and 1976 are still running!!!! But this Citation is on another level!!!!

Had to 'up-size' from my Simplicity Courier 48" to a new Citation, but only to a 52" deck (easier to get through several gates) to mow my almost 2 actual acres of lumpy grass. While the Courier has somewhat of a front suspension, it still wasn't enough. The Citation is a lot quicker without killing my back and has cut off over a half hour from my mowing time. Really miss the automatic brake though, and the Citation handles like a tank compared to my old Courier. REALLY like saving time most of all!

I have 1.5 acres and looking at the Simplicity. I have a John Deere zero turn, but the ride quality just ain’t there with having a bumpy lawn in spots. How is the Simplicity striping on the zero turn?

Have you used it on any steep hills? Let’s say 20 degrees…

Maybe you can fabricate an oil catch pan out of aluminum foil

I've found that if you drain the engine all the way that there's not a lot that drips from the filter.
