Not that rare, you can find ones the Spaniards re-barreled in 7.62 NATO along with other countries in the Mediterranean to standardise their Reserve's and colonial African armouries. 😉
Surplus is ridiculously expensive, right now. Back in the early to mid 2000's, you could grab a refurbished or replica Mauser for less than $200, for example. If these sorts of guns still sold for prices like that, I'd already have half a dozen. You sir have a fantastic collection!
One thing k98s that I always found hard to swallow was 7.92x57 calibre. In UK it's expensive and hard to get... and now that they will be making reloading even more pain in the arse, it's pretty much pointless.
I love these Israeli 7.62 NATO Mausers ! 8x57 is kind of annoying if you don’t reload, so those 308 guns have all the cool history and surplus + bonus convenient round !
A warning to anyone buying turkish surplus ammo; these rounds are substantially over-pressured and meant for machine guns, just trying to spare y'all split stocks. 👋
I am confused now. You were loadimg green colored cartridges and extracting a grey colored casings. Why you did not shoot the cartridges you were "loading" info a gun and shot a different instead?
I don’t understand RUclips at all. How does this channel have 3.6 million subscribers after being a channel for a year and producing videos for only nine months? I’m not saying it isn’t a good channel, but the growth metrics don’t make sense.
The only thing im a little bis sad is how you eject the clip.. let it in and just chamber a round and it will easily eject the clip by itself.. this is so satisfying..
@@JonSmith-xh2jf yeah your right but i would do that if i would've done that vid... for me its same like someone who do a vid about the m1 garand and dont show the "ping" 😅

You can tell the rifle is old and worn, but it still locks up and puts out like a master at his craft.

The sounds this gun makes is incredible!

Had soo many rounds on this firearm back then, what a great time it was

Love this vintage guns
That is one Hell of a case of separating the art from the artist.
It's not just that. Some of the weapons that were used by Israel in It's first years still had swastikas
It is a great gun. So beautiful.
The way I screamed NOOOO at the end
Best weapon in Call of Duty
Nobody payed attention to that, but I notuced that color of bullets changed 😮
Ein wirklich tolles Gewehr hat Spaß gemacht zuzusehen
I feel like using steel cases in a nice Mauser is like drinking wine from a styrofoam cup.
more like drinking moonshine from a martini glass

Mauser.. such a nice brand.. unfortunately doesn't exist anymore...
I think it does still exist it just works for shooting ranges now, at least that’s what I heard.
They actually do, i don’t think they export their rifles out of Europe though

Странно! При снарядении обоймы цвет гильз патронов болотного цвета, а при перезарядке после выстрела мы видим гильзы серого цвета🤔

Turkish bullets are bullets that are put in a paper box with Arabic letters, right? If that's true, then I know why my friend's G98 slightly cracked
How much does a mauser cost nowadays?
Plz do Springfield

x51 - x54 wich one? ( x39 impossible)
Definitely isn't 7,62x54mmR as it doesn't have a rim. And it also looks to short for 7,62x60mm so I guess it's 7,62x51mm NATO

Isn’t a 7.62 K98 just a M1903?
The M1903 is a copy of the Mauser 98 action, Mauser even sued Springfield and won.
7.62×51 not 7.62×63
The k98 was originally chambered in 8 mm Mauser (7.92x 57 )
The 1903 Springfield was chambered in 30.06. (7.62x63 )
This is the Israeli version using 7.62×51 bullets. The German version uses 7.92×57 and the M1903 uses 7.62×63
