Hi Crystal. Love your videos. I was impressed with your review of Meiliang watercolor and decided to buy them. I am having trouble using them. They seem to be more like what I would think gouache would be like. It’s so thick and opaque. I know I’m probably using them wrong. It would be great if you could do a tutorial on how to use them. I know you already did a painting with them but I need more! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with all your fans.
Hi Carol! Just make sure to add a lot a lot of water! Then you can get the consistency transparency of watercolour. :) I have a tutorial of me using them to paint 3 little floral bouquets in my patreon inner circle tier that could show you in application how I achieve a more watercolour look. Otherwise hang in there I may use this set again in another RUclips video. Cheers!
I have two sets from Meiliang and I really love painting with them. I’m glad to see you like them too. They are a joy to paint with, highly pigmented and creamy.
Really enjoyed your review and painting today! I got a Mei Liang set for my first try to learn how to paint watercolor and I am so glad after watching you review and paint. I am excited to jump in with a lot more lessons. I love how pigmented my set is as well. It is the smaller 36 set. Thanks again and lovely painting!
Beautiful! I have the smaller set of Meilaing and I love them. I must have this set also. Thank you for sharing!
You’re welcome Sue!
Thank u for the review. I have my doubts but after watching video, I am Definitely buying it. Thanks Crystal ❤❤❤
It's a no brainer!

Beautiful, 🎉❤
Thank you! 😊
I'm tired of saying everything you paint is so amazing 😂 but, what else can I say? 😂❤👏😍
I greatly appreciate everything you say it. ❤😊
Lightfast?
Before you painted the vase it looked like dried flowers. :)
Thank u! The vase is a mess isnt it? hahah
I meant dried or pressed flowers. I preferred it without the vase.
Arn't these dye based?
No, pretty sure they are pigment based.
