Ha I randomly found this after searching Broyhill Fontana. I had my whole childhood bedroom in Fontana. I then got many more pieces. I'm about to buy more Broyhill Fontana from someone nearby that has a bit too much stuff in storage. I love it.

Tom Broyhill was the founder of Lenoir Furniture Corporation and his much younger brother, JE Broyhill, founded Lenoir Chair Company. JE Broyhill bought out his brother Tom's Lenoir Furniture Corporation in the 1954. They were separate ownership. Broyhill Furniture was not a brand name til the late 1950s. Broyhill consisted of as many as 7-10 brands before the consolidation like Lenoir Chair or Lenoir Furniture.

And since most of the Broyhill furniture Co. (His family Sold out ) he's been rolling down the mountain and over again in his grave , take away the jobs and the history of the city I love and was born has been erased , I miss hearing the trains and the siren at lunchtime from main st. downtown and the happy times I sat alone at the Avon theater watching movies and playing bingo
