I disagree: great album but i believe every album is better than the previous one; imho Shadow Self and In the Raw are light ywars better on an objective point of view ;)
This album is amazing. My favorite songs are Rivers of Lust and I Feel Immortal. I listened to these two songs on loop. But In The Raw is my the most favorite rock album by her. Thanks to it, I discovered Tarja's solo work and fell in love with her music. I'm really looking forward to the new rock album. She will surely surprise us with something again. I love how her music keeps evolving.

It definitely felt like a much more confident record, if compared to "My Winter Storm". And I do remember the "I Feel Immortal" drama in your blog 🤣. And people having a meltdown in the comments because both singles had basically the same video, lol. I honestly loved the idea. Obviously I liked "Until My Last Breath" better as a song, so I was happy to see that the fashion (and most importantly: the budget) from "I Feel Immortal" was also used on "Until My Last Breath". It is still one of my favorite videos from your career, so tastefully edited, and shot, it looks gorgeous.
"What Lies Beneath" album is a truly awesomeness masterpiece and also contains of my all time favs "Falling Awake". Tarja has a magical aura, when she's talking about her art it's so amazing and mesmerazing. Brasil ♥Tarja.
Even though WLB is not one of my favourites, it was a necessary stepping stone for the golden trilogy that came after. It still has amazing songs like Anteroom and Crimson Deep. The artwork is also stunning.

"Crimson deep" and "Naiad" are masterpieces! Those are 2 of the Best and already more mature Tarja songs, which is kinda impressive for a second album!
This with Colours in the Dark are her best and I hope Tarja will add the best with her new album coming this year. Will it be symphonic metal or not, we will see. Her voice works the best with orchestral specific sounds rather than shredding guitars, but the balance must be spot on when recording an album in such a genre.

This album is so huge that the three song that got out the first release are amazing: Naiad, We are and the cover Still of the Night. All songs are jewells. The best album no doubt.
Tarja, when participating in the projects Ayreon and Star One from the unique project composer Arjen Anthony Lucassen? It would be amazing, perhaps together with Dianne van Giersbergen. Combining your both symphonic operatic metal voices, it would be Heaven 😊👍🎼🎤.

I like other albums, but this one is the best for me. It's heavy, dark and symphonic.
