Yeah, and many units can be stronger than low level Ubers. For example, normal cats lvl 20+80 are very strong. Even more lvl 40+70 lil cats.

I can understand where there coming from because say you and a friend start Battle Cats at the same time you spend months beating Ch3 moon crazed/manic stages or even floor 30 while your friend lucked out and got Shadow Gao brezzes through the whole game calling it easy in my opinion I say don't go over 3 Ubers so you can at least understand the level
Kind of reminds me of my old shooter days where people would complain about certain weapons or powerups being too good & players would bash other players for using them. I feel like the same argument applies with BC as well: There is a difference between a player who uses ubers & a player who actually knows how to use ubers. That is what separates the ubercarried from the skilled for me at least.
While I don't use them much myself, I don't see nothing inherently wrong with ubers myself, but it does kind of lead to what I call the "P2W dilemma" where some players get the impression that just because they are labeled as "uber" these units can beat the game with no effort whereas it's actually the contriare & this is what I love about BC myself. Ubers are just more specialized units designed to make tackling stages easier instead of the instant "I win" cards that tends to be the norm that characterizes units of this caliber in other games. It gives people that sort of vibe & I suppose that is where the whole ubercarry thing might stem from or at least partially derived from that. Truth is that in BC, most of the time normal units work better than ubers IMO. I've always seem ubers more as auxiliaries if anything to compliment my lineups rather than centralizing my lineups around them.
Lucas IV - I wasn't trying to draw parallels here, but more along the lines of how it just reminded me a bit of it. Perhaps I should have worded that better.
I was mostly referring to old school arena shooters which I probably should have clarified. There were some players who would sometimes complain about double damage powerups or superweapons despite them being easy to counter if you even had an ounce of skill. Cheap strategies like camping are easy to counter as well especially in older faster-paced shooters if you know a thing about predicting & tracking your enemy. Hacking is a whole different matter altogether though as it's unauthorized modification using third party software so I don't know why you brought this up especially when I never even referenced it to begin with. Of course nobody likes it. I have seen skilled players who have beaten wallhackers & aimbotters in 1v1 matches before though which is hilarious.
Of course it makes no sense comparing a multiplayer game to a singleplayer game, but in the end I was just highlighting how things exist in a game for a reason. They are there to be used. Players shouldn't feel ashamed for using said items or characters & likewise on the other end of the spectrum. It's an aspect of the game & if you want to be skilled in the game you need to adapt to those encounters instead of just complaining about how it's overpowered, breaks the game, & shunning those players because of it.

@@LucasIVYT Honestly uber rares are technically made to counter certain types of enemies(white, red, floating etc) or support other units with debuffs to enemies(slow,knockback, freeze), maybe even a better version of rares and super rares, but they are never trump cards that allow you have a 100% on certain stages, though if used well, or in the right time, can be good lifesavers and determine a win or loss in a stage

I love Legends and I love being a Legend carry when I can, although due to the fact that Legends are less versatile then Ubers that's not very often so when I am able to use most of them or all of them in a way I take it and thoroughly enjoy it.

Often i try to not use ubers for self opposed challenge but I tend to bring ubers to beat annoying stages faster or to redo beaten maps to make reward grinding easier (like SoL maps with unit drops)

I think Yukimura is a blessing in early game. I use to look back and think that it was not a good uber to have so early, but it really helped me discover the power of rares. So in a way he is great. Also he is op af now I can boost him

@@magk2524 okay if you like high stats that much, then you should look at his 1200 RANGE. That outranges pretty much every single enemy in the game, even if the DPS is bad it's still, chip damage that's gonna bring certain stages from nearly impossible to just hard.

This is a game, games are supposed to be fun. Using some meta strategy you can't deviate from is just boring. Ubers give the players some leeway and allow to have fun again.
Edit: the only thing I see as important is using a lineup with diverse cost. You can slowly ramp up to your expensive hard hitting units.

Being ubercarried isn't necessarily bad, but flexing that you beated a stage when using an uber is the negative side. Like imagine someone that took years to clear the stage just so mitama can clear it easily and whats worse that user flex that he beated the stage and how it was so easy. This also goes for someone who is to above leveled for a stage and saying this is so easy.

I will continue to flex beating every boss in the game with my extremely overbuffed Balrog Cat and Dao. Sure, I’m Ubercarried, but I’ve beaten half the stages you were stuck on in 20 seconds. SOL was such a shitshow for most stages.
In my opinion using an Uber to cheese a hard level is the most satisfying thing in this game.

As far as strategy goes, I’m honestly missing a lot more of the important rare and super rare gatcha cats than ubers. I don’t have Gao or anything crazy like that, but up until recently I didn’t have Ramen or Fishman Cat and that was always significantly more of a pain in the ass for me.
I admit, the moment I got Amaterasu and leveled her up to lv 30 I pretty much resorted to bring her up in most if not all of the early stages of SoL and she was a massive help to get A. Bahamut, I even went and add her in stages with pure white or most white enemies, causing myself more defeats that I'd like to admit, but as soon as I got Ururun, and eventually Li'l Nyandam, among some supers and rares, I started to go around different ways to approach the stages and improving my gameplay.
I still use Amaterasu here and there, but only when the sage does call for it and it'll help me move forward.
That's my 2 cents on the matter.

Catman was my first Uber; was ubercarrying from the start w/o realizing it.
I use three ubers. Without them, it would have taken months to get to where I am now. I like to think of them as a catalyst. They speed things up. I didn’t have to use them, but I wanted to because I want to advance in the game. I don’t want to get bored of the game because of all the grinding.
I use ubers to speedrun the game.
I managed to beat empire if cats, into the future part 1, and 11 SoL stages with tecoluga

I defeated itf 1 recently and I have 5 ubers. I usually use one Uber for levels, as I have orbital platform Armageddon and Diabolic gao, which gives me coverage for everything. I also have mobius, EVA-UNIT 00, and Ganesha. I use mobius and EVA for red, angel, and wave-focused stages and Ganesha for a second bahamut.
i gotta admit. Kaihime from the god's of war carried me most of my actual game as she was my first and only zombie killer on many stages. Then i would use her only on zombie level. Afterward there were some real though enemies i couldnt beat and behold kaihime got my back.

I like how you explain the difference between uber-dependent and uber-carry. I use ubers, but only use like 1 or two per level. Not for their strength but useful abilities. An example (not of mine but an example nonetheless) would be Kasa Jizo. He is an uber but is cheap and apammable, while evolved forms are expensive, slow and slow attack. This form can't really be considered an uber because of cost and spammability. Some other cats like bahamut should be considered ubers because of it's price, long recharge and power. There is a fine line and i think you explained that well

Resident feline I have completed today. My first manic stage. Manic jamiera was my first manic. Not affected by waves is awesome. I love using my shishilan agains wave levels, to make them a lot easier
I always bring 1 or 2 ubers in a stage
A generalist tanker and/or a generalist backliner, thought the tanker become pointless in a lot of stage after mid-game
Also I used sgao to make awakens stages and crazed/manics a walk in the park, and I cheesed the progression of advents with kai and balrog
The rest of the lineup is either wayy too generalist (with either dual dragons or a mix of midranger + cancan, courier, bullet train and dual eraser) or a mix of specialist if needed

I have a specific Uber I bring to most stages, ubers that are good against all traited, because there usually isn’t just traitless…
I'm uber-carried and I'm proud of it. My general loadout has EVA-08 (the Pink one with a gun), Earth King Sodom, and Gamereon. They make up the main bulk of my attacking force along with Cyborg, Skelecat and Ramen Cat. I got my first uber in EOC1 and used it to push my way through the first chapter. I then upgraded it for chapter two, failed a lot because I expected EoC2 Moon Boss to be Floating and not Red, upgraded some anti-red attackers and beat EoC2. Sodom was my main attacker in my anti-floating loadout I used for EoC3 Moon. I now have 7 or 8 ubers and even a Legend Rare (Gaia the Creator), and try to keep a couple of ubers in my loadout to be main attackers in stages that let you stall. Also in case things go haywire while I have lots of Cat Coins (battle money) from defeated enemies. To all you other UberCarries out there, ignore the haters and be proud of what you do.

Fair enough, though I feel a little sad that you don't have any ubers, some ubers can be great help throughout the entire game! It won't make every stage easy, but they definitely help!

2:32 first thing that popped into my mind after hearing this statement was CaptainSauce.
Seriously, he just about never uses rares/super rares aside from Paris. He took one look at Heavyweight and Lumber and stated that they were both useless. He brought A. Bahamut into Li'l Meows and after realising that he'd run out of cash, he said that Ururun was useless. He still doesn't even have all the goddamn Crazed Cats.
Even in terms of Ubers, he's still got no idea what he's doing; saying that Sodom was useless, preferring Black Cat over White Rabbit and Babil over Warlock (even on stages with lots of floating and little/no angels), thinking that Seashore Kai could tank Zyclone and STILL NOT USING R.E.I.
Don't forget about Mattshea! Sure he doesn't say that all his non uber cats are useless, but I'm salty that he can win by buying catfood and using all his ubers when I've never bought any catfood and I'm struggling to get past Kenya in Into The Future chapter 1.

I have 1 Uber right now and that is Raiden. My team was a bit weak, but he helped me all the way. Helped me beat bun bun, helped me defeat my first cyclone, Red cyclone. And pretty much more threats like that big one horn.
god i remember typing this when I had raiden. unfortunately my brother deleted the game and I had to start over again. So right now Raiden is my dream uber or something like that. I would really like a fast attacking uber with decent range right now to be honest.
Depending on the stage really i have specific goals currently because ive gotten certain ubers/tf of certain cats so now i can easily get specific cats (manics) i dont personally feel like i cheesed the level even if it wasn’t necessarily hard because it feels like im finally strong enough to face these stages (after beating Vulcanizer without needing the uber for much except the first gory part I realized i couldve/shouldve tried the stage sooner xD) but also after getting the uber i see new opportunities/strategies i can now use to play the levels/fly past them. Ubers do a lot when it comes to beating the levels but its not because i have to its because i can and it wouldnt make sense to try and challenge myself by beating a random sol stage that im on when im playing the stages for a bigger reason not just to play that specific stage. The people who get mad at someone for “uber carrying” are just salty of the cats that person possesses and that they dont have to do as much work to get to point where they are.
A good strat would be to carry around 1 or 2 ubers depending on the difficulty or it might be better to carry around none if the level is easy enough.
That moment, when you played the game for years and someone who just started the game said: "Uber carried!!"

It’s weird you mentioned gestalt decay. I’m actually stuck on that stage (1 star). I only have 250% alien treasures. I was using twinstars since she attacks fast (and moves fast and spits acid), but I can definitely see how Paris and cameraman can replace her. So with insufficient treasures and lack of true forms, I don’t think I’m ready to try gestalt decay again. But at least you told me I need Paris and cameraman. Now I know what to do. I was stuck on it for a month lol, but during that time I kinda was falling out of battle cats.
When I finally beat it, my lineup was basically just a copy of wuffa's lineup. None of my ubers are really suited towards black lol. Beating that level got me back into it and I progressed all the way through past learned to love in a day, shadow gao really helps out against mina

Coming from other gachas where using high rarity units is seen as part of normal gameplay, seeing this kind of term doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, I managed to somehow roll some strong ubers on my account very early on and I'm not afraid to use them.
While going through 4 star legends to get idi, I realized it was actually easier using ramen , cyborg, ururun, than using gao, kasli, to beat stages.

I use 2 of my Ubers for this reason it’s either have 2 random cats that might waste money or have a 100% freeze chance (basalan pasalan) and a long range damage dealer that can hit the base early(nobilan pasalan). Of course I can trade nobilan for hacker for spam ability

I personally only use like 6 super rares, and around 30 rares, but only use 10 of the 18 Ubers that I have in any levels

I might use some Uber carry but only use them when I truly require them.
For me I would try to clear a stage without Ubers at first, if I really cannot clear it upon 3-4 runs I'll start using ubers.
I bring ubers to levels but I don’t use them most of the time, they’re there if I need them
a good lineup for me (personally) is neneko moneko dmg combo (sm) for dmol damage and for stages that have like 1 metal hippo, jamiera, 2 ubers (for me they're hades and shishilan), 2-3 meatshields, anti X trait unit, thaumatagure, cyborg
I have 1 Uber. Aer/Erphaun From the elemental pixies.
I usually use it as a damage dealer. or to cheese the base after a boss wave with it's short standing range to wide AOE.
But, what I'm getting at, is if I need to switch it to out for something like apple cat or kotatsu cat, I'm perfectly fine with it.
Half of the time I forget to even replace my Ubers so I just end up not using them but you know I'm a little Uber carried it's good to know that it's not bad because people need to

I normally have 1 uber in my formation: Sodom. It's the only uber I have and, being the event uber it is, it's good vs flying. I just use it for 2 reasons though:
1. I like its high stats (especially range), it's good for taking out large amounts of peons and dealing significant damage to the stage's boss at the same time.
2. I have nothing else to spend my in-battle money so I send it out with Valkirie (don't criticise me if it's spelt wrong, it's a tricky word) Cat.
Is what I do considered Uber Carry? One thing to note is that half of the time Sodom doesn't get to the battlefield in time, so I think that I'm not "uber carried"

Honestly, I like the game for the fact that you can collect Ubers. It's fun. I don't care what people think of being Uber carried, but I definitely am (as a fellow Jizo user). Though, I still use none Ubers in a line-up if necessary like dual Islands or Musashi because I don't have a god damn immune to shockwaves Uber. :
