My mom owns a marmoset, a baby marmoset is less size than a stick of butter, and the best thing to describe them is that they are the size of a eraser.

I had this for a project at school so here’s a bit more information
Like he said they are the smallest monkeys in the world so you might wonder how big there really are,there are 5 inches tall and there tails are longer than their whole body’s at 9 inches the marmoset lives in the Amazon rainforest they can also live in Brazil and Peru they like to live in trees and thickets (a small group of bushes)and they like it near small river and streams.as you can see on the pictures the marmoset has a speckled yellow brownish like fur and only have brown eyes.They also have claw like nails to help them climb.The marmoset also has some really cool facts like it weighs the same as a stick of butter and they are so small a adult marmoset can fit into a adult humans hand.Marmosets eat mostly fruits and vegetables like grapes,apples,bananas,and oranges.But they also like nectar butterflies and spiders,a lot also eats them like cats and some snakes.

Comments on these types of videos mainly are "oh so cute i want one" to "they belong in the wild leave them be". Sometimes these creatures are in a wildlife habitat for a reason. Other countries have different laws and views as well when it comes to owning a certain animal as a pet. Its really not up to us to judge. Some wild animals that are born in captivity (maybe some rescued) are well loved and they love their humans too.
Of course we absolutely can judge
I agree to an extent. I am all for sanctuaries for animals like these but an average person should never own one. I have worked in rescues for wild animals and it is crazy how many people mean well but their animal's hair is falling out from anxiety, not getting appropriate stimulation, or proper nutrition. Many of these animals teeth are filed down from biting the bars or running into the barriers of their enclosure and have bruises and bald spots. If people want to interact with these animals just volunteer at rescues. They are always looking for people who mean well and they can learn and participate in the proper care of these animals.
