I think John Schneider is the better singer of the two Dukes of Hazzard stars. Tom Wopat does try, but his voice isn’t as rubbery or as strong, so throughout the rest of the song he ends up singing high harmony behind John. Wopat does edge out Schneider on the rhythm guitar though. Whenever Schneider tries to play while he’s singing, he appears to be a bit klutzy, and he appears to be playing the wrong chords in the song. I don’t know. It just seems that way.
