I liked the movie. The Android guy especially. Good damn movie and I didn’t expect that. And I love the Android head from the first movie. That really elevated the feel of ALIEN atmosphere. My favorites now are : Alien, Aliens, Alien Romulus and then I dont care what you put next. Prometheus probably better one that the rest.

This movie was very good. The cast kept it from being great. I had no interest or investment in any of them. They were bland and vanilla at best. I cared about the android most which says a lot about how interesting the characters were. I liked the idea of having one of them pregnant though. How about making it the main character so you have someone to pull for that matters? I would probably say this was the third best in the franchise. But that’s like saying Jaws 2 is the second best in that franchise. It is good but not as great as the original two. But better than the hot garbage from the third and fourth films. The effects were also great. The atmosphere captured some of the original. The aliens were awesome. The cinematography was excellent. There was a lot to like here.

Steelbook prices are ridiculous these days. I remember when they were the same price as the slipcover. Who wants to pay $60 for a damn movie!
They know us hard core collectors will pay those ridiculous prices to get the steelbook to collect all the editions.
