    That's not a dough hook and it is closer to puff pastry than a flaky pastry!

    Too much butter and use pastry flour or all-purpose if you use that flour it has too much gluten and gluten gives it structure.

      Aha, I think that was lost in translation! Here in the UK we say 'Plain' flour, which is AP flour for you 🙂

    Bad ! All wrong! Dont use whole wheat!!!......and u need to learn the french method!!!!!

      I'm not sure he said wholwheat, just wheat flour..? I learned to cut the butter in pieces, spread over and fold in thirds, rest, then roll. Is that the french method?
