Oh Yvonne, those crockery jars are fabulous! You did a beautiful job stamping them. All the signs, and the amazing, giant tray are perfect. No one would ever know the blessed signs were cabinet doors. You are so kind to include me in your shout out. Thank you. 💕
Dude,,,I Seriously could watch you and your ole man flip every single day,,, I always learn something... I made that turntable spray thing... You guys Rock... God Bless..
Wooden cabinet doors. My husband has a stash. Now I have a stash of treasures! I love the blessed signage and now I see potential for all those doors. I love beast and the "family" font you used. Excited to start working on My stash treasure of cabinet doors. ☺ Thank you, Yvonne! Joy. Pgh, PA
I use cabinet doors also. Our neighbors sold a stack of unfinished cabinet doors at their rummage sale for $1.00 each...I bought them all and have used about half of them. Your finished signs are wonderful.
Use a flexible stamp mount. IOD sells them or any IOD retailer. They have the grids and are very affordable. You can stamp with paint, just use a brayer and roll out the paint on a piece of tin foil til the brayer is covered with a thin coat. It’s not as precise but still an alternative if you don’t own the colour you want in inks. Or you could use the stamps without any mount, they are sturdy and flexible. I prefer the look of a slightly distressed stamp anyways. Great video! Cabinet doors make great serving trays to by adding handles to each side. And you are right, it didn’t need anything else.
Thank you again for sharing I just love watching you do your great works of art the black cabinet door with the blessed sign what's my favourite but each time I watch you I learned something new thank you so much for sharing God bless
Hi Yvonne you recreate and repurpose items in a way they can be styled in any home thanks for sharing. Prayers Blessings to you and Chris and both of your families Hugs Mildred!
Another excellent outcome with those lovely signs. Oh I love the stamps on the crocks! OMG is that snow outside? Brrrr. Nice fix on the jewellery box! Inspired. Hey thanks for the shout out! Appreciate that so much.
Loved the signs! Loved the little crocks even more. The marmalade stamps were absolutely PERFECT! How cute! I must have the stamps now and will look for little crockery jars to put them on. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
Luv the crocks! They turned out great! My favourite piece has got to be the large tray! And never thought to use old cupboard doors to turn into signs! Genius.
I just subscribed today and I've already watched 4 of your videos. I love everything I have seen you do. Thanks for sharing your process. I have learned so much today! I watched from beginning to end. The crocks and the cabinet doors are so cute. Ready to watch some more. Thanks for sharing!
I wanted to let you know I picked up some of the Durham’s water putty! I have an end table I want to try it on. Can’t wait. Thanks so much for the tip.
I'll forever be grateful that you introduced me to the antiquing wax over black paint. I think of you every time I admire my hutch. Loved these projects!
I am new but I really love your projects. I also love that you are such a perfectionist. You make everything look so high end. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talents.
Yvonne ...I LOVE THOSE CABINET DOORS! I have a small one that as a pine tree made out of a metal vegetable strainer with a vintage broach for the star. ( I know that is hard to visualize....LOL!! But it is so cute! ) Love love love those ! I’ll send a picture on Instagram to you. Then those crocks ! I have never seen them WITHOUT the vintage markings already on ! What a find !! Those with the vintage stamping on are EXPENSIVE 😳 I’m not a stamper..stencil ..YES! So I got the Transfers instead ! And you better get it where you REALLY want it...no wiping off. Once committed..it is there! I tried to get a Transfer off something and it was very hard ! Never would have guessed that! Even off your nail polish if a little piece gets on! LOL!!!! Awe... thank you for the “ Thank you”... so I guess we are blessed! I am deeply thankfully I found your channel... your style, your personality, your ideas.... everything is a joy to my day ! Hugs from small town USA ! ❄️❄️💙💙💙❄️❄️
Hi Yvonne....as soon as I saw your blessed sign I remembered I have some of those cupboard doors in the basement and I recently bought some wooden half rounds, weekend project coming up...You do inspire me...Take care...stay safe...
So much for sharing all the information on how you prepped all this wood thank you so much enjoy this video along great information also OK That’s so cute when you were done the bless the beautiful on this project
I think the signs made from a door are great. I actually bought a raw wood piece from Hobby Lobby that looked just like those and I used it to make a sign.
I love the cabinet door signs. But my favorite thing of course is the crocks! Love the crocks and have a few. I love IOD stamps and have a lot of them! They are so worth the money and the designs are always larger for farmhouse decor items! I have used them on a couple of my crocks and found that not putting the stamps on a backing and leaving them as they are and they can bend around a circular item much easier. And if you can sell those crocks, you have much more of a strong will than I do because I would want to keep all of them! So awesome!!!
The little crocks are whole grain mustard jars. Very traditional. You can find them at Trader Joe's or Cost Plus World Market. I like to use them to hold paint brushes or pens. Thanks for all the good practical flipping tips!
Yvonne how gorgeous are those jugs, you just took them up a huge notch. TFS, congrats you are about to hit 25,000 subs soon, so exciting. Have a creative, inspired, safe week xoxo Sandy
Loved the big chunky tray, reminds me of the old bread trays used in the 16th century upwards. Great handy tip to DIY the chipped pot piece... I'm in love with all the black pieces you do with the Waverley wax so yes of course love the doors.😃
@@GingerChickRehab You're welcome! More specific, they are vintage French mustard crocks. I also do a lot of stamping and have found it best to hold the inked stamp in your hand and then carefully place it on the rounded item instead of using a block. When I have one mess up that I want to look like an old stamped item, I just leave it, vintage items are not perfect they show ware over time so I think it makes it look more authentic! They look wonderful either way!
You would love my attic! I work at a cabinet factory! I have 60 plus doors! Love what you did with the doors. That's why I have so many. Just need to find the time to make them!
