I liked the idea but the suggestions are too expensive & more targeted towards the younger audience. Seniors just need usability for basic apps and a great camera.
I think seniors doesn't need large battery and big storage because they usually text and call only. But as I saw my father, he prefers bigger screen so he can see the texts.
isa sa features na dapat for seniors ay auto close after a period of time. napansin ko phone ng tita ko na bumagal yon pala ang daming naka bukas ng apps
My dad settles with his nokia phone with keypad because his primary source of entertainment are cable movie channels. Both of them are seniors. Ipapa-panuod ko sa kanila 'tong video. Thank you, yugatech!
I recommend *Xiaomi Mi Max 3.* It has a *color accurate(no eye strain/fatigue)* 6.99 inch display, sturdy *full metal* build, *5500mah* battery, and it now runs *Android 10.* I bought mine for only *Php 8,000* last January.
Realme C3 is an option. Affordable price, sturdy build, serviceable camera, average performance. Imagine your lola/lolo losing a 30k phone that you bought 😅
I think dapat mga de-keypad to or something like Nokia or entry level android phones. Durability and connectivity ang priority Nila not that flashy designs and whatsoever. ☺
I saw the Nokia C2-05 online the other day and I think it's such a pretty phone. I'm a techy guy but I can still appreciate these relatively simple phones, having grown up with far simpler gadgets growing up in the 80's and 90's that cost a tidy sum back then. I remember my Samsung SGH-X700 and SGH-E840 that both cost around P15K IIRC. The C2-05 is just around P850 and should be fine for calls and texts.

The Pixel 3a/3a XL should've been on this list. It doesn't have all that useless, gimmicky bloatware like all the Samsung Galaxy phones have. It has the best camera of any mid-range smartphone and will also receive more OS updates than any of these phones said in the video (minus the iPhone). Do yourself a favor and skip any Huawei/Samsung device if you want reliability, longevity and best of all..that camera! 🤩😎
Hey guys why not also have an episode the best smartphones for visually impaired or blind people because as a visually impaired person my best choice for a smartphone is the samsung galaxy note series. Because once you turn on the accessibility plus the s pen that is the time you will have the best convenient experience. Without using any eyesight

None of these phones are adapted to seniors that wouldn't be as confortable with technology than a young person would.... Not very helpful for majority of seniors who feel overwhelmed by smartphones...
Need help 😁po. What phone/s can u guys recommend with great display pero 10k below budget?? More on watching vidz and reading ebooks trip ni mudra.. Thanks alot!!
Is everybody missing the point ? We need a phone for the elderly that has nearly ALL the controls removed. Don't care if it's iOS or Android. For example the phone app needs only one button on the screen - yes that's correct, there must be no buttons or controls to change the: - Flash/ no flash, just always Auto - Rear camera/ front camera, just always the rear camera - Mode, just always photo, no video, no square, no portrait, no panoramic - Colour always, no black & white or sepia or filter - framing, no Live Photos, just always a single shot and when you press the Shutter Button, it must not matter whether you tap it quickly, press it hard or press it long - that damn Shutter release just always does exactly the same funtion, it takes one single photo. End of. Do you see? Dead simple. No confusion. Nothing clever or hidden or secret manouevres. The photo gallery must have no manually created folders and no automatic folders "portraits"/ "screenshots" / "WhatsApp" / "Videos". There must be no geo-location indices, no "Find by characteristic-X" search facility, the gallery just has all the photos displayed in the chronological order they were taken. Simple As. The user just can't get lost in some weird sub-group of photos, and they can't "lose" any photo. You think this is too little functionality, because YOUR grandma wants to take videos as well as photos. Well, okay then the video function could be reinstated from the SYSTEM SETTINGS only, but NOT from within the camera app.

This list seems biased and only for promotion. They don't even include important features that seniors will really need or people who are not quite tech literate. BS list.
Walang Realme XT/X2? Its costly but its a sub-20k device and has amoled screen, senior citizens tends to need only facebook/messenger and yt to kill their boredom, a midrange device is just enough. A decent performance/speed/camera.

When each brand has their own skin, seniors will choose a similar interface instead of choosing to learn and remember everything all over again.

would be nice if you guys made a video to help set up a phone with senior friendly options like large icons etc !
Tingin ko di mga ganyang smartphone ang kailangan ng mga seniors, more on call & text lang sila, dapat mga keypad phones lang...
Agree! Saka kung di man keypad sana yung mga entry level android phones na matibay like Nokia . Para relate sila sa brand hehe
