Instead of scissors, I would recommend a ruler and an x-acto knife. Much more accurate and straight and works in a fraction of the time of scissors. Also I would recommend spray adhesive :)
Do not use spray adhesive tried it today and ended in the excess glue peeling off part of the artwork covering holofoil
I used elmers spray adhesive so maybe just stay away from that

What is I wanted to turn a foil into a common? Azneyes, this is the BEST video. It is time for me to work on my tokens. laterz
Rubber cement 101. You put a light layer of cement on both areas... Let them dry... Then careful put them together. Tip: you can buy Rubber Cement in a spray can (like spray paint or hair spray) from most hobby, art and/or craft stores. Pro Tip: use a piece of wax paper as a barrier and start at one corner and align the 2 sides. Stick one edge and take wax paper out a little at a time, while you slowly adhere. PERFECTION!

Tokens I made were DD Esper Star Sparrow, Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon, Fabled Urustos and Blizzed Defender of the Ice Barrier.
Note that depending on the age of the foil card you use, the image sizes vary, for the older card you need to keep the border, for the newer ones!

well back in what seems like ancient times I made skull servant tokens, you know before skull king was a thing people pretty much just threw skull servants away so I always had a ton of them lying around

Hey man, how do you get the cement off without smudging?? I feel like it would smear and leave smudges if you dont use water or something. And I feel like using water will also leave some damage, though not as bad as the glue.

I have been making tokens like this for a few years as a hobby. The best cards to make into tokens IMO are cards from REDU till now because they have the bigger picture which allows them to be used on the new kuriboh, goat, gorz tokens from legendary collection

Why would you ruin a cyber dragon infinity? That card is worth around $40
all cards in yugioh anime are foiled. it takes a while to ruin a foil in water. also multiple incidents occure when cards go in the water

this technique relies on the fact that the foil uses a different top layer of the card (the foil) and isn't paper itself, a common is paper all the way through so it would just be screwed up by the water
I got the 5 signer dragons as tokens, they look pretty awesome but when i dunked the black rose dragon in i regretted it but oh well too late

Secret rare dracossack tokens here I come!
ive been trading for these since forever. I've got 3 binder pages of these. Im in the process of having a Durandal, a Scythe, a Michael, and a Azure-Eyes White Dragon. Unfortunately, I suck at cutting things XD

What if you wanted to use a custom image? Would that be possible and if so how because I want to make league of legends tokens but can't find the images or paper to print them on
The paper I use is regular old 4x6 photo paper. If you need a program to make the cards I use. And if you need a program to use I a at use gimp 2 if you dont want to shell out the money for Photoshop.the dimensions for making a card is 400x580 atleast what i use.For printing I would expend using Microsoft word.and make sure the card is centered, on its side, and sized proportionally (useing an actual yugioh card as a Templet works perfect for me).and finally while printing make sure it says printing on 4x6 photo paper in properties if you are using it.
You can also try using Yugioh Card Maker and look up a tutorial on making Tokens with that site as well. I use to just use that to make my Tokens.
Follow what ***** suggest, and use photo sticker paper.

other rarities with holographic image can be used. but ultimate doesnt have that extra foil layer so it cannot be used.
