@goneroguegames I recently started watching your videos and appreciate your content you are putting out! I was also looking at your patreon to see what products would be available at a discounted rate if I would become a certain tier member but the link to the FAQ is locked unless I am already a paid member. Is there no way to see what may be available as to me as a member, unless I am a paid member? Appreciate any assistance.
Sorcery!! Yes!!! Been waiting Kevin to cover this game. Love this game. I'm playing Beta at my LGS tomorrow night and AL on Saturday. Very excited for this set.
Sorcery did not have a first edition or unlimited. I don’t know where you got that. Alpha was the Kickstarter. Beta was retail. They had the exact same set of cards, except the curios.
People who compare metazoo to sorcery are the same people that can't use their own eyes to see one looks and plays like trash and the other is beautiful and uniquely fun. I believe in the sorcery team, they aren't after a quick buck and they made something great.
Most people don't like change and this is as simple as that. People thinking Sorcery = Metazoo are ill informed MTG players who never tried the game nor know anything about the creators behind Sorcery. 😊
Always up for more Sorcery content! 'That RUclipsr' is 1,000% the killer of games. These small companies hitch their wagon to him in the early days for the hype but it's not the hype they're looking for. All pump and dump unfortunately. Also one thing about the Sorcery sets, they don't do 1st and unlimited thankfully. They had an Alpha set for the Kickstarter and Beta was their first actual set
Just in case regarding sorcery. Sorcery did not print unlimited yet, not even announced it. Beta is second set 2 waves were printed, but its quite limited. Arthurian is awaited and have the potential to grow the game. Too bad im in another country, would definitely join patreon to get some of your sorcery ;). I know you have already lots of tcg in a small town... but try it! Nice content, as usual 😊
That event sounds like so much fun ! Someday, be cool to go out west and check out some lgs and parks. Definitely would stop in and check out the shop. Pizza and ice cream is a bonus lol.
I like your content and tend to agree with your opinions. That said, I find it ironic that in one breath you can shit on online sellers for not having any interest on building a community, and in the next breath you talk about having no interest in trying to build a Sorcery community. I sell online, and it’s my conduit with the community because my job and my schedule do not allow me to have a brick and mortar store. All I’m saying is, not all online sellers are scalping and doing it to flip a buck. Some of us do this as our last grasp to stay in a community we can’t otherwise be part of.
@@audrisampson why stock and sell merchandise for a game that he doesn’t believe in, doesn’t have a local community for, and isn’t interested in helping build a community for? He frequently remarks on his dislike for online sellers for numerous reasons, then turns around in this video and does the same exact thing that he condones against. I don’t care if he fosters a community or not, rather, I want him to recognize his bias and hypocrisy and, ultimately, to stop shitting on online sellers. I sell cards online, but I don’t do it as a means to make money, rather to remain connected to a community that I love that I can’t spare as much time for due to my busy life.
@@superretrogamerbros.8492 , cause his patreons buy it? Also LGS have to sell online especially as a rural store without a big player base to sell to. Of course he isn't going to like you competing against him when you don't have to pay for a store front and are doing it as a hobby. For him the sales are his income.
@@audrisampson And my buyers buy the stuff I sell online, so what? He specifically calls out online sellers for having "no skin in the game," for literally selling the products and not caring about the customers, the community, or the game itself; only caring about money. As an online seller, I'd argue that I am in no fashion competition to him. Online is a global market, there is plenty of room for us to coexist. But that's NOT what he complains about online sellers for. He complains about them soullessly selling the items for money without caring about the game or community. My issue is that is what he is saying he does in this video. I don't care that he does it, solely that he operates under a "Rules for thee not for me" mentality. My reasoning for saying something at all was to let him know that not all online sellers are soulless, evil flippers. Some of us actually care about the TCG community.

I havent bought any magic sealed in years. Ive spent a few grand on sorcery. Ive had more fun and enjoyment opening sorcery than i have ever had opening any magic. I still have bought a few magic singles, but thats it.
I see the same people making comments on a variety of different channels putting down Sorcery on a regular basis. 99% of the time they are MTG players. I'd love to know why they are so threatened by other games and why they are so loyal to a souless corporation like Hasbo? So much insecurity and so little reason.
I get what you are saying, but these Sorcery boxes went to good homes. People who actually are playing it and I am happy I was able to get them at least a couple boxes each.
Sorcery is basically metazoo 2.0. Lots of hype extremely rare to find in a LGS that actually carries it and lots of people are convinced it is legit by "That RUclipsr" Sad to hear the non mtg games are struggling so bad. That was my experience at a small town LGS as well. MTG or nothing.
It's just hard to invest in something that goes nowhere. Look at lorcana, star wars, one piece etc.... At least in mtg you know ur cards won't go to 0 by the end of the week
@filipealmeida7301 I agree. Smaller game companies don't push the game as hard, shop owners don't have the time to really focus on making a smaller game work and the players really need to trust that smaller game to succeed. I've spent my last 12 years organizing events for a smaller game so I get it and understand.
@@audrisampson Sorcery is in a completely different ballgame than metazoo. Even if only by the experience, those working on Sorcery actually has prior decades of successful game development experience... People who think the game is a fad are missing out. For gameplay, draft/sealed, and the box openings itself it is unrivaled. The meta even after 2 years of only a single set , has a huge variety of competitive decks and none of them are dominant. @chesterfieldthe3rd929 yeah but they don't look as nice as the box. The art is super boring on 95% of the cards. Good luck with your sorcery collection, it'll be hilarious in the future
Lol ahh yes. The delusionals who think there are card games that can contend with mtg and pokemon. Lorcana is the only one that can and (so far) is making it's way into establishing "the big 3". Wtf is sorcery and flesh and blood? Are these tcgs peddled to third-worlds or something?

With the tier system WotC is going to make even more precons per set... one for each tier!
I bet they will save high tiers for things like Commander Masters

DJI Osmo pocket 3
