Thanks for posting! I went to D23 2013 (Disney fan club event in Anaheim) and they had the guy the voices the character in the ride there as well as mock up models of the ride. Very impressive. I probably will never get to go to Hong Kong, so you posting this is great. Thanks again!
Wow, this is incredibly enchanting. I would definitely say that this is a step up in telling a story about a haunted mansion. And since that was their goal with this ride, I say: "Mission accomplished!"
Oh I love this! It's like Haunted Mansion meets Journey into Imagination! I especially love the moving pictures and the Greek statues! I would so love for this to come to the USA, it would be perfect in EPCOT! I really love the name Mystic Point too; it's pure magic!
Anyone else notice the portraits at the beginning of the queue? I'm positive I saw a cameo of Danny Elfman as one of Mystics's relatives, most likely the collector of the items in the "music room"
even if there wasn't an agreement I think there shouldn't be to many versions of the same ride. I think it's cool that Hong Kong got it's own "Haunted Mansion" inspired ride, makes the park stand out.
It is sorry that there are an agreement between Hong Kong Government and HKDL which agreed that there must be only one Mystic Point in the world, to keep competitiveness of HKDL, against the competition with Shanghai Disneyland. If u want to try it, it is pleasure for u to hv a visit to HK ;D

it is trackless in the traditional way. the ride has electronic tracks which is much better for designing attractions than traditional "tracked" attractions.

Such a great ride, I hope they bring this ride to WDW in Florida. IMO I think this ride was based off of Journey Into Imagination at Epcot.

This is a much fuinnier version of the haunted mansion. Wish they had this in FL instead of some of the cheap things for the new fantasyland.
