Quarantine has definitely taken a toll on me. Isolation has lead to repeatedly reading my darkest thoughts, to feeling alone, to feeling tired and nervous. I use to have really bad anxiety whenever I would be asked to talk to strangers or present but, over the years, I learned to overcome it. I overcame I and became as free as I felt in years-- free from fear and endless worry, free of being myself. But all this alone time has made me shaky again and it sucks. Each time I'm asked to present, I get so anxious that I mumble, talk too fast, and never finish the point I'm trying to make... I feel alone, like I have no friends since no one really reaches out anymore. I feel empty, desperate of being in the same place...
I write this because I didn't know where else to write it. I wanted to be heard, given how silenced I've felt over these last months with my anxiety worsening... But, even though I write this, I have faith that when it all goes back to normal, I took will continue to progress... I pray for that, I pray for you who reads this. Find comfort in God as I have, find peace... You cannot control things that aren't in your control and that is fine... You will be fine, you will be okay. Lots of love, friend.
