"Ohhh sometimes, the truth is harder than the pain inside. Ohhh sometimes, it's the broken heart that decides" - powerful line
One of my favourite bands - dancing round my living room floor at 58yrs old. Great fun embarrassing my grandkids reliving the 80s!
With you on that one 😅
Infectious song and video, the production is as big, funky and bouncy as on Scritti Politti's album the year before and there is so much joy and lust to this track! I remember catching it on MTV when it was new, and while I didn't quite realize ithey were a gay band (and groundbreaking in that sense) the song was just irresistible.
So agree
I do the same mate whoo haa
I’m 98 and been back flipping all day to this song

@TEL_02 Sorry but U are an ignorant about 80's music. Communards were founded

After this release in 86 I started going to nightclubs in blue jeans and white tshirt trying to replicate Andy Bell dance moves 😁 such good times , loved 80’s nightclubs !
How hard is it to pick a favourite Erasure song?........so many classics!
Loved them from the start, But i cannot say what is the best one
Even harder: find a terrible Erasure song!
A little respect
STOP
Every time I hear Erasure, I can imagine my Mum in the kitchen washing up, listening to them and gently dancing 😊
As a gay man in his mid 40s I can't say how much I miss the 80s. Never be a time like it again. RIP Freddie Mercury. 😍😍😍
I am not gay but I loved this kind of music and bands like Erasure, Bronski Beat, Culture Club and so on :)
