Suggestion - Hun, always check hourly weather forecast before leaving so that you can always be prepared in advance. I've seen your struggles with this constant changing weather a lot of times in your videos. So, by checking hourly weather, you'll know if you need to carry Jacker /umbrella in advance or the kinda dress up you need (like waterproof shoes or no heels shoes)
I use carrot to a great extend in my recipe. Like while making egg omlete I add some grated carrot as well as in omlete bread, almost everything. It adds color and food value. And if you chop and store in freezer it's a huge time saver.
Omg u buy so much expensive stuff like planers. These r available at dollar stor for four dollars I sever plz save money to survive in Canada. Use phone note to make grocery list no need to even write on it just say words it will write automatically
i fell in love with your vlogs, it's soo simple, cute and real. some of the struggles of being a new immigrant to a country was so real. something i could relate to having gone through a similar situation. you both are just super cute couple.
Hey you can always use sprouts it's really healthy and you can mix onion, tomato, carrot, lemon, salt, black pepper and peas mix it according to your taste and you're gonna love it!
Try one pot meals like khichdi for one meal atleast. It's not difficult bor time consuming. Mix a variety of Dal's,rice and or healthy millets like foxtail n keep in a jar and just measure a bowl n throw it in the pot with salt n turmeric and some cut veggies of your choice i.e peas, spinach, beans, cauliflower or broccoli. Healthy fresh n easy to cook. The way you are eating is not healthy and will lead to obesity in a few years time and you won't even realise it. It happened to me so trust me don't go for complicated fancy cooking. One meal everyday could be Indian simple one pot meal.
Pooja it's very easy to make paneer...it will take very little time. Boil 1ltr milk and squeeze one lime in it....strain it in a muslin cloth and run it through cold water to remove the bitterness of the lime juice or vinegar. . what ever you have out in the milk..then put a heavy object on the muslin cloth for few hours. After that your paneer block will be ready in no time. .you can do it as a weekly activity on Sunday's 😊
Hey Pooja I remember in ur previous vlogs like in ur early days in Canada u said u did not like Tim Horton's also Saransh said it's watery but now we oftenly see u grab Timmis what has really made this change...🎉🎉
Yessss....this was so good....your videos are just amazing I don’t know what is it, but your simple, casual and honest approach connects to us, at least to me for sure The best part is that these videos are simple and genuine with no pretentious stuff going on!! I bet it’s difficult to have 2 full careers but keep up the good work...kudos...I keep looking forward to your videos!! :)
15:18 -15:22 honest comment 😄Make paneer at home. I avoid potato chips as snacks. Try eating nuts( roasted almonds, cashews) , sunflower/pumpkin seeds, dried figs, prunes, plums, Millet cookies , bitter gourd chips ( next time you can add these to your cart 😊). Enjoy cooking 👍
I like this video much more compared to your other videos which were also very good because it has a specific content and you successfully delivered it. It was very much organised. You were not always the centre of attraction rather you showed what you planned to. There was no repetition of images. This is not a critic but rather my observation. Wish you more success for your future videos. My 16year old daughter is a great fan of yours..much love from us.
The most realistic part was the trolley that u were carrying , every person without a car has the abroad has it in their initial days , Threw mine yesterday 😂 Love from London
All the best in your meal prep. You can do it ! It should be simple since most stuff bought are already pre- prepared. Time to look into buying an umbrella, car and getting those license.
Omg that’s where I live haha! If you like organic food there is a market called Fresh and Wild less than a five minute walk. Lots of great fresh produce, cheese, meat etc.
Yes Enjoyed it. Its just mostly people run through there kitchen to see what all they have, then its the meal prep and then u make a list of what all u need to buy.
You can check if you get Haldirams paneer. It is closest to the paneer you get at shops in India. If you make paneer from the regular store-bought homogenized milk your paneer will melt when heated, so try raw milk to make paneer. This is my experience in US. I don't know if Haldirams paneer is available in Toronto.
would have been great if you displayed the INDIVIDUAL PRICE of each item in your grocery haul. That would really help those viewers who are about to immigrate as well and want to get an idea of cost of living ;-) Thanks!
Make paneer. It’s very easy. Just try with 1 ltr of milk first. I make it all the time with whole milk, lemon or vinegar, a colander, and some cheesecloth
Good to see you taking care of health and picking good stuff for shopping. That's how even we usually end up doing our weekly shopping too. TC. 😀 P.S. paneer/egg bhurji is v easy option for a meal 👍
Hii peekaboo u can make paneer at ur home, just boil milk add few drops of lemon and leave it for sometime and later drain it in a cotton cloth and put some weight in it that’s it ur healthy paneer is ready 😋👍
i recently moved to canada from mainland china, and guess what ? I took a fido connection, i recalled in one of your video you took a fido. so cheers. i guess i'm going through the same feeling as you went through ! please keep posting your experience, as it will be soo soo helpful for a new immigrant. love your vlogs !
Just wondering if $100 per week is per person or total? If your doing $100 for 2 people per week that’s only $200 a month pp, which is amazingly cheap for Toronto! If it’s $400 pp then that’s more average. Considering you’re downtown and shopping some organic $400 actually isn’t bad at all.
Search for ready to eat salads. They provide you with everything right from dressing, veggies, crunchies and protein in one pack! Just tear the pack, unbag and mix and eat. Great for sides or just a salad meal 🥗❤️🌻
Normally I watch vlogs or any kind of vedio by increasing their speed....but your vlogs no matter how long they are i end up enjoying them sooooooo much that i didn't even have to look at the time how much left for the vedio to end.....I just keep on watching and really really love your vlogs❤....
I don't know if this comment will help now, considering that I am re-watching this video after so long, but making paneer at home is a 5 min job, trust me. I live in India, but i usually avoid getting paneer from outside (dairies or super-markets), unless until I am having guests over and making a paneer dish. You just need to heat the milk and add vinegar/dahi/lemon till it curdles, and strain it. I like to make it for myself every other day. It is a good option. You can make it at nighttime, considering you two run on a busy schedule!
Try Nanak paneer and one more thing I stay in canada too so for groceries like carrots I chop them and freez them that works really good put in your salad or fried rice.
Quesadillas have same concept as paneer kulcha in India, only the bread is different which you know is tortilla. Fillings are super easy and can be alternated. You can always work with whatever is available in your fridge, nothing needs to be fancy. Everything is available on google Good luck, because even I learnt cooking after getting married and coming to Canada
You can include legumes and lentils in your meal prep. It's a time saving and healthy option. 😃 A tip for any paneer you use - keep paneer soaked in hot water for 30 minutes before using it. It becomes soft. You won't feel, it's heavy. Yeah, even I'm a big fan of Flamin' Hot Cheetos, just like you. 🙂 Wheat Thins and Triscuits are good snacking option. Have it with some dip or hummus. They taste too good. 🙂 Do share your avocado toast recipe. 😀
It seems you only like premium groceries stores! But I would suggest you should once visit Freshco/no frills/ wallmart and Sabzi mandi for indians things, you can see the difference in price!! It's good to save some bucks!! Yes or Yes?
Even our morning cannot start without eggs..i feel for you guys! On the other hand im glad to c youll incorporate food into ur vlogs as well..m lovin' it :)
I think..you should visit brampton..you will see vareity in paneer..nanak paneer is good..bt as u r in downtown you wont get that much variety..trust me visit brampton..Chalo freshco..will b good for u
You can try to make one pot meals like moong dal khichdi / veg or chicken pulao/ chicken noodle soups/ Mexican rice / South Indian bisibelebath or American chopsuey etc. quite easy

I use carrot to a great extend in my recipe. Like while making egg omlete I add some grated carrot as well as in omlete bread, almost everything. It adds color and food value. And if you chop and store in freezer it's a huge time saver.
I love the vibe of this channel, its so classic and chic!! Keep it up!!

Also bulk cooking can save you loads of time and pack them into small containers and into the freezer ,defrost and use whenever you want.
The meal planner is really awesome. Liked it so much
Hey you can always use sprouts it's really healthy and you can mix onion, tomato, carrot, lemon, salt, black pepper and peas mix it according to your taste and you're gonna love it!

Omg that’s where I live haha! If you like organic food there is a market called Fresh and Wild less than a five minute walk. Lots of great fresh produce, cheese, meat etc.

You can buy roti pack from asian shop frozen haldiram whole wheat pack of 30.
