@@dbeeesbeats I got a live 2, op1, 2000xl and a proud new owner of a 3000. Loving the 3000 but am definitely missing the speed of the xl. The XL workflow isn't as good as the live 2 but it's a happy medium with speed and good sound IMHO. How bout u
@@SauceSoundz oooooooooo man lol I’m jealous😂 can you see the wav form in the sample edit screen? My homie has a live 2 and I like it a lot, other than this machine I have the xl and 60II and I may have to give the title to the 60. It’s super tedious but it’s just nice to make beats on
Dope shit man! Do you chop your samples manually on the 2000? I heard about a "auto chop" trick on the 2k classic but i dont think it's the same thing...
I appreciate you watching man! Much love🙏🏽 but yes I chop them manually on the og 2K, I haven’t heard of a auto chop trick but if there is one I would definitely try it lol
@@dbeeesbeats search on youtube "Dante Lewis shows you HOW TO Auto Chop on the MPC 2000" , I haven't tried it myself cause half my pads are broken but hope it helps!
@@dbeeesbeats still have my old mpc but I decided that I wanted to shift over to the sps for a bit, feel they allow me to be a little more creative with my sample chops and placements
@@boisauce5748 thank you for the compliment bro I appreciate that! So I’m not familiar with the MPC one but what I can say is push yourself to the limit and always try different techniques each time you make a beat. Are you sample based mainly? If so, look into different genres of music, also changing up your drum patterns too. I hope that was kind of helpful. I do plan on making tutorials soon so be on the lookout.
That 2000 when it came out made me a lot of bread and had me traveling from coast to coast!!!
Damn that’s the dream man! Hopefully one day🙏🏽 thank you for watching!

I don’t have my 2k anymore but basically you use the Velo->Attack option, then use 16 levels velocity so it chops the sample evenly

Chopping samples on the SP is so nice actually, so much quicker. I love how fast you can load your beats too lol

@@boisauce5748 nice man, yeah I’d say just really try different techniques each time you make a beat.
New equipment coming soon?? 👀

Is it me or does the 2000 sound a bit different than the 2000XL 🤔🤔🧐?
It’s got a little more thump than the xl. More of a haymaker than a jab😂
