Excellent video. Just to give a man's position, I could say that if my wife joined forces with someone or led the way in mocking me or making me the butt of jokes or any put downs in front of other people, that would be just about the worst thing she could do. I would even go so far as to say, to never contradict your husband in front of other people. Even if he is saying something you don't agree with to someone, just keep silent and bring it up sometime later at home. And of course doing these things behind his back are just as bad. Also you are spot on, that talking about private things to others should never be done. Unless your husband may say in a particular case that it is ok.

I've been working on prioritizing my husband lately. I have found that, much like the Lord, most of what he wants from me is for me to do my job. Cooking, cleaning, caring for/educating/disciplining the children...these are all things I do to help my husband. Just as he goes to work every day to afford me to do so. The more I can get done during the day while he is working, the more attention I can give him when he is home. I've been waking up 30-60 minutes before him this week and it has been amazing! I feel so good sending him off with fresh muffins or biscuits.
I love how the Holy Spirit speaks so clearly through you. Your videos have convicted me and made me a better wife and mother since I found your channel nearly two years ago.
Honestly, I started slipping last year and I've struggled to get back on track. I am very thankful to see you posting videos again! I wrote down your 8 tips for productivity and put it on my fridge 🥰
Thank you for sharing the wisdom the Lord has given you. May He continue to bless you and your family.

I always say to myself, "how would I feel if my husband did that to me" and if I would be hurt, offended or whatever I don't do it. In German we have an adage.. "what you don't want to be done to you, don't do it to anyone else" and this is how i guide my life ❤️

That is true about the love language! You might as well invite them into your personal business. I am a private person for a reason. I think people don’t understand the importance of private moments and privacy. People are so in tuned with what people think and feel.great video I look forward to many more.💛🌻

Love, love this.... As I continue to watch your videos I'm so encouraged by the wisdom you are sharing to young wives. I've seen everything you are sharing over the years and I always cringe when these things happen. Cherish your marriage, love your husband... Proverbs 31:11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. …. The gain is a relationship of trust and love .. this all builds strong marriages and thriving families. -Crystal 🙂

I gotta be honest, I didn’t think I’d learn much from this video. Not because my marriage is perfect but because I’m always on the defensive end, ready to justify my actions 🙈 But wow! Sis you blew me away and I’m walking away with so much knowledge and understanding. There are certainly some things on that list I gotta take care of….thank you!

The last one was helpful. I quickly fell into that one fast. So fast I did lose myself. Slowly coming back. And you are right! Your spouse can’t meet every need. Not like the Lord can and when this happened I drew nigh to Him. Glory to God for helping me realize who I am to Him and getting me through a rough season and blessing me with some great wisdom.

Hey Amber! 😊 I will definitely uplift you in prayer concerning that. ❤️ I would encourage you to look up scriptures in regards to your tongue, and study those. Ask The Holy Spirit to help you😊.
I love Proverbs 31:26 “She opens her mouth in [skillful and godly] wisdom, And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue [giving counsel and instruction].
Also, meditate on Ephesians 4:29 “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”
God can transform anyone and any situation. He’s got you sis!😀

Sis. Yes. I love it. You have articulated these points so well. Ladies we are the plug/outlet for our husbands to recharge from the world/work/demonic attacks. Like Angel said we are their safe place/ their peace. Sis you are so wise.

    • @silvernblack21

Well that's fine. But my question is: where do we find OUR peace & safe space? It isn't with the husbands, and if we don't fill back up we'll be unable to meet their needs. I'm at that place now, constantly used as the "safe space", then becoming drained because nothing's being poured back in. Emotional labor is very real.

    • @aishaevans8865
      @aishaevans8865 3 года назад

@@silvernblack21 it truly is and that's where communication comes in. We have to communicate our needs with our spouses and not expect them to know. Another thing that works is when tending to his needs, try to do something that may relax you both. Or whenever you have a moment or when you cooking/cleaning listening to something inspirational and uplifting really helps like Angel mentioned. I like Dappytkeys on RUclips, he has piano worship music or I'm listening to a lesson from my elders or uplifting "truth" music. Find a hobby that's relaxing. Pray/meditate in scripture. Or if you don't have time for yourself during the day, you may need to get started earlier or have some late night me time. Don't neglect yourself, then you won't be strong and energized for him. That's the duty we are charged with by Our Father.

I just found your videos this evening. (It is 12/10/2022) I have been struggling with being a submissive wife and trying to find something to help me, someone who can explain things to me in a way where I can understand what I'm doing and how to change it. I absolutly love my husband and do not want to lose him because of my lack of ability to submit to him. Your videos have helped me see where I am falling short and I believe the Lord led me to your videos. I have been searching for over a year to find something and just today I found you. Thank you! And praise God for leading me to you. I will be looking for you on Instagram. Thank you again!!
