That is... Goodness gracious. Wow. Just wow. Listened to Perlman Hahn and Fischer first because I needed to remember something about this piece, but this girl just washed the floors with them all. She really seems to get Bizet's Carmen - almost like she IS Carmen. It's all there. Amazing!

since Sarah Jang's performance, I had never seen the violinist who could play this song with feeling full of Gypsy like this before. And now I am watching this video, and she became my favorite performer of Sarasate. It is very impressive. I love her fascinating performance.

I’ve heard SoHyun play the same piece in different settings with different unique interpretations. This one by far is played with so much more passion, depth & maturity. Always interesting to see SoHyun’s music development over time.

i swear, the acoustics at the heifetz institute/presbyterian church are marvelous, i love the performances sohyun ko does here much more than her other ones
I think shes grown more used to performing and shes playing out now and i thinkk shes more comfortable. Zukerman taught her well. i think she was taken aback by her playing because of the way she walked at the end. she must have been overwhelmed
