Don’t Over Complicate things!!

This is a simple yet effective peeping caddis pattern. While you can go pretty complex with these, and they look awesome, when you just need to stock up a fly box with general buggy patterns, this is the way to go! I don’t always have the time I would like to stock my own fly boxes, and my guide fly boxes need constant work and upkeep, so this is a go-to of mine! Particularly this time of year, leading up to the caddis hatches. While complex ties are fun, they are not always necessary to catch fish. This is a great one that is both easy to tie and mimics the look and profile of a caddis nymph extremely well!
