Far out, I have been addicted to this series since you landed in Asia. But today, you got me hooked. NON-LEAGUE! Thanks for the videos, mate. Realy appreciate your work. This is the stuff that Football Manager Lower League dreams are made from.
Thank you for this video as someone who works as a Staff in these lower leagues. Even though the team I working is in the northeastern region. A Lot of the player in this league is under 23 and we are proud to be the grass root for the domestic leagues in this country.
Fantastic video. So glad you brought attention to Thai Non League. I'm an expat Brit living in Lampang, in the north and follow my local non league team Khelang United, in Div 3 North. Not bad for a club that formed less than 3 years ago. Home ticket costs 60 Baht, about GBP 1.43 - Great value. Most clubs at this level have motorbike carts selling snacks and drinks outside the stadium.
I'm an expat Brit... No, you're an immigrant. Of course you should be happy, why wouldn't you be happy about bringing attention to a sport, when there's a civil war happening very close to your new home, with teachers being decapitated, entire villages burnt down and bombed
Khelang is great! Watched their recent match against Chiangmai FC. I live up in Chiang Mai. Love the football culture here and I can bring my young kids without worrying about awful behavior and violence.
By the way, if you ever want to venture up to Lamphun to catch a League 1 match, they also have carts out front selling food, and a ticket will set you back 150 baht. I love this country.
It's not that non-league, Thai League 3 is still counts as a pro league, but the levels there are near the Thai Semi-pro League, so yeah. Great vids though! As a Thai, I feel so proud that you've decided to show Thai football to the other side of the world. Love it! Keep it up!
Yeah I did think that might be the case. It is the first regionalised league though, which in the UK does usually signal non league. But yeah, I'll have to come back for one even lower next time! Appreciate you watching the vlogs :)
@@FootyAdventures Actually. In Thailand, there is also non-league football tournaments, which we call "football on the road", hunting for prizes (money). It will be a team that combines former players from professional leagues with local people who love football, coming together to play in a short program, playing 1-2 fields that's it, divided into two competition groups, similar to the FA Cup in England, but the play is more intense, more brutal. Sometimes we also compete in Muay Thai at the same time,🤔🙄😁😁😁😅😅🤭😬🙄⚽🥊 quite brutal in the early days. Later, the judging has become more standardized, playing according to international rules, so it has become better. Many people are interested, and there is also live broadcasting. In the present era...
Great videos. Love you being in my favourite country of Thailand. League 3 as others have said is not non League, but does consist of 6 regional divisions, from which only 3 teams can eventually be promoted to League 2.
@@FootyAdventures Yeah, I figured that's how you made the connection to non-league here, but dukeofthailand is right, League 3 really isn't non-league.
This is the perfect blend between a travel vlog and your usual football coverage! Football really can take place anywhere. Great video sir - the beautiful game
Great video! You've discovered something many people don't realize - Thailand's regional leagues can actually be more intense and passionate than Thai League 1 in terms of supporter culture. Since these teams truly represent their provinces, the local pride and identity are incredibly strong. The supporters are deeply connected to their hometown clubs, creating an authentic football atmosphere that sometimes even surpasses the top division. The provincial rivalry and local derby matches are especially fierce. It's wonderful to see you highlighting this often-overlooked aspect of Thai football culture!
These videos have been great! The Thai supporters are amazing! The respect they have towards both their own teams and other teams has to be admired! Great standard for showing kids how it should be as a fan 🙌🏻
Well, I never expected to be watching footage from the third division of Thai football today. But honestly, really impressed! Looks a good set-up at KBU, great to see a healthy domestic infrastructure up and down the leagues in the country.
Nice to hear Alloa get a mention but with it being warm and with the Sun out, even I would need to have a vivid imagination. Great uploads. Keep up the great work 👍
Excellent video! Never thought I'd watch, let alone enjoy, a video of non-league Thai football. lol I know Scottish football is your bread and butter. But I wish you could do even more content outside UK. Those are my favorite videos.
9:47 That's a LAWSON! It's one of the "big three" convenience stores in Japan along with 7-Eleven and FamilyMart, and in Thailand, they're partnered with a domestic convenience store chain called "108 Shop", which is why the LAWSONs are called "LAWSON 108" here
It’s football culture in Thailand ,when the games finished the players will come to the other teams end for an appreciation. You can see it at the end of every games in Thailand from youth level to Thai league 1. My every foreign friend surprised about this. 😂
I was at the Worcester City Women's game at the Sixways Stadium on Sunday. The professionalism and standards of the football plus the quality of the experience was really good. Could be one worth covering if you are ever this way. The Sixways Stadium in Worcester is a Rugby Premier League stadium once used by Worcester Warriors. It's a 10000 seater. It is the women's home stadium. They are getting as many spectators as Worcester City Men do. The owner of the club is the former Spurs manager. It's a story worth covering!
Class Video mate! This T3 isnt actually Non League its a professional league players training daily etc i used to play for Prime Bangkok in the same league haha
Great to see you taking an interest in Thai football, but Thai League 3 is not non-league. Non-League in Thailand is the Semi-Pro League starting in a couple of months where regional leagues see teams try to win promotion to the Thai League, while lower down are competitions such as the Korat Super League, Thonburi League (which I will be going to a game in on Sunday) and the Bangkok Premier League. Feel free to shout if you're not sure of how the league's work here.
I guess it is fair to say Thai League 3 is similar to English non league since both are regional; however, Thai League 3 is 100% a professional league. It is no an amateur league. For true non-league pro-am football in Thailand, you are talking about Thailand Semi-Pro League (aka League 4) which is played during a different time of year from League 1, 2, and 3.
The one you went to see was a 3rd tier league. which is still a professional league It's called Thai League 3. There will be lower leagues, namely the Thailand Semi pro League and Thailand Amateur League.
6:27 you definitely been living in Scotland for a wee while.😮 You watched a university team.😅 You asked where else should you go for football? My suggestion is Bangladesh and USA to see soccer. You definitely enjoyed your time in Sydney Australia as you mentioned a wee few times. :)
You should go upcountry to a big city like Chiang Mai to watch Chiang Mai FC, who are playing in Thai League 3. The fans are amazing, showing true love and faith in their home team. And, of course, they love booze, which is easy to find if you are looking to let loose and have a good time.
If you have a chance please going to the southern Thailand to watch the matches in this region , you'll be surprised about their energetic and impressive. Regards.
I would like to recommend the Thai League 3 derby match between Pattani vs Nara in the Thai League 3 Southern region. It was very intense. But it's quite far from Bangkok.
I remember traveling se Asia 2012ish... Went into a stadium in Central Bangkok for free entry for lower league game, no idea who the teams were but decent game. Also wandered into another empty stadium (Chunlakorn stadium?) and just sat in the stands watching a team's training session. And in Vietnam just walking into random stadiums and wandering round the stands into someone spotted me 😂😂happy days!
Too late for my comment, but really enjoyed the Thai games. Great fans & decent stadiums. How long are you in Thailand? You should go to BG Pathum Thani. (Bangkok Glass) Very nice ground.
Thai laws prohibit the selling if alcohol in educational institutes and Buddhist temple (and a fair amount if area around them), that's why no Leo in the Lawson shop you visited. Those blokes chugging Singha probably brought it from outside. In fact, I'm surprised you can find your Leo at the floating market, because it's operated on the temple ground 😂
@@FootyAdventures the stadium is within a university campus area so there's no alcohol sold. Lawson is also Japanese like 7-11, it's so commonplace people can show it in movies and TV series without paying a product fee, even make it part of the plot
I like the way you travel via the football game 🍺,Next week (wed29.1.2025) my hometown will have an interesting match for ThaiFAcup Lopburi City FC (T3) VS Bg Pathum united(T1). I think a lot of local fans would be join the game because not often that T1 team come to our homeground., coming to Lopburi is quite easy by commuter train (slow&cheapest) from Hualamphong train station their several trains in the morning&noon.
Since you're in our part of the world already, how about watching the Philippines Football League? It would be interesting to you and to other subscribers of the channel because it's in a country where the most popular sport IS NOT football...
What other countries should I watch non league in?
Australia 🇦🇺. Some great ethnic history in those leagues.
Can you do a vid on Mohun Bagan, Kolkata, India pls...🥹
Go to India Sam buy bottled water
