John, Appreciate your faith. On the one hand salvation is a gift from God to us... On the other it is said that one must be born again which requires some effort(works, mental or otherwise ) read the bible, prayer, seek salvation, have some portion of your biblical knowledge and understanding, new heart , in order to qualify...etc... I respect your love of the word however you may be missing some things that are left out of the conversation and teaching. For example the difference between ressurection and salvation or eternal life... Thank you for your love of The Saviour.
56:44...Well he said he saw thrones, he didn't describe them, but he said ALL were there. No need for the Book of Life there if no one's going in it. He said all who's name are there are delivered, the others are judged on their works alone, and cast into the Lake of Fire. \O>
57:06... Yes. I 100% agree with that and knew.^^ Bible somewhere (Revelations 20:12-15) even says it b4 hand, that those who didn't believe are judged by their works. It actually says books were opened, AND the Book of Life, and the dead, both great and small were judged off those things written in those books, according to their works (so that's all, the righteous and unrighteous). Then, it says Hell, the sea, death gave up their dead, and those were judged by their works. Then it's wrapped up with and all those who's names weren't found in the Book of Life were cast into the Lake of Fire. It doesn't say the grave, the pit, abraham's Bossom, it says the Lake of Fire. It also says Hell is the place he prepared for his angels. That sounds like the place u go upon death in ur sins, is it not? I get the whole, greek, latin, suffix, prefix, etc. (words translated), yet, there was one language b4, and God shook that up. I think (know) God would know how to direct his authorized word in writting, written among men, regaurdless of going from one language to another. In the world, lost in translation, I know, and accept. God's word, I do not accept that. HE inspired it, and he IS the word, regaurdless of language. If God wants something in there, or out, he'll make sure it turns out like that, even if we criticize the way it got there, or removed. It's his word, his work, and he's not the spirit of confusion. Seems what u said about religion vs revelation is also happening with bible vocabulary...^^ \O>
