Online forms sometimes don't let me use my first name with the hyphen. I haven't had any issues with this thankfully, as legal documents have my correct name, but it's annoying
Since I have two last names. She cant add or delete a hyphen like nothing, you need to change your name legally (court) to add a hyphen. It sucks. Someone mentioned, she maybe has a single mom. Where do you find that information? After watching the video twice, I know 4 things; she was young, black, trying to become a nurse, and has two last names. What of those 4 things make you believe she has a single mom?
This almost sounds like a made up issue. I have 3 words in my last name "de XXX YYY" and a lot of systems love to mangle it into "deXXXYYY" or "YYYY" and I've never had issues with it. She should sue whatever company denied her the test.
Women, even you crazy feminists, do not, I repeat do not hyphenate your last name. Just take your husbands name and if you must, replace your old middle name with your old last name. It'll be a headache for the rest of your lives and you won't have the same last name as your kids, among other things.
You would obviously (assuming that you’re a woman) want to take your husbands surname. That’s fine. You made good points. Some women simply don’t want to change the name they’ve had for their whole lives though. Where I’m from, it’s fairly common for women to keep their original surnames. Nobody makes a big deal about it until someone, who is very used to women changing their last names, gets confused.
@@lmlm_ In other countries the woman gets to keep her last name you idiot. Keep your sexist comments to yourself. Again the men's lineage is not more important than a woman's. So you need to check yourself and grow up.
It’s 100% the proctors fault. They could have easily just let her take the test. The proctor was just being a curnt.
I think this is why some states don’t let you add in any non-letter characters. In California you can have a double last name just not with a hyphen
This is real. Not easy to get all legal documents and ID’s changed, also ANY accounts/bills with names on it
my parents had brain rot
I blame her parents for putting her in this situation. A weak and indecisive decision twenty years ago created this mess.
Blaming her parents is a dumb. You definitely lost your mind on this one.
I was born with a hyphenated last name, but some of my family has changed it
Yet another reason to not use two last names.
George Carlin set it straight years ago. Pick a last name!!!!!!!!!
Thankfully, all of my legal documents match and have my correct name, but most online forms don't let me use a hyphen. Definitely a headache.
Who is she? I'll give her My last name 💯🥰

Only in USA this becomes a problem 🙄

What does being black have to do with anything?
You can change your legal name thru the county courthouse. Then with the court order everyone has to change your name on all IDs and documents.
Lol
Theres more to it than just that, I know a hyphenated name is not that big of a deal, they have to be racist
When you blmae racism for all your life problems.... very problematic
Oh yes, racism. Everything is racist these days. Take responsibility for your problems in life and stop blaming others.
Welp, she should’ve taken her daddy’s last name. Gee, wonder why she didn’t.🤷🏻♂️
How do you know she don't have her dad's name? She could have both her dad's and mother's maiden last name. Smdh
I don't understand ladies with hyphen names... it's like you single but married... but to each his own
Some people want to their name, how hard is that to understand? It has nothing to do with single. Y'all are ignorant
this is not newsworthy at all

No it’s not that easy
@@mya3601 it literally is
