Your story about starting a RUclips channel is a perfect exemple of this idea that bad experience can "put" you on a path to something amazing 😊 You're a great inspiration. Lots of love from Paris ❤
Wow is all I can say. There are some videos that just speak so clearly and personally. This is one of them. From answering all the "so what are you gonna do questions" to settling in something that I am not passionate about to parents expectations. I have definitely learned a lot from you. Its one thing to say find what you love to do and you'll never have to work a say in your life. But you are actually doing it! I wish I had the same passion as you do to travel without fear and to pursue the things that make you happy. Thanks for sharing 😊 so inspiring!
GREAT VIDEO ZO! Your videos are so helpful ! My school started to push us to find our passions and future career from middle school and I was worried cause I didn't know what I really want and now I'm in high school and my way of thinking changed a lot ! When I was younger I thought about many things, teacher and mainly doctor that everyone thought I was actually going to be a doctor! But now in high school we get to choose our subjects that are related to what we're going to study in college ! I found myself so good in business and I find that my marks are really good in business. But also I really really love fashion styling and matching clothes so I really want to be a fashion stylist, I love when my sister asks me about what to wear and I help her to get a new look! But my parents say that it's a hobby and I can work something else. So I still don't know, what I have in mind is fashion styling, business or something to do with media because I spend my whole day looking at my social media! I can't wait for your book ! I'm so excited for it! Hope you're having a great day, love you
You could be a wonderful life coach. In a sense that is what your youtube channel is. I can see that you enjoy helping people and that positivity always returns to you ten fold! Love you Zoey!
Zoey, overtime that I go back to your videos I always have something new to gain from them. I always have a new spark of inspiration, all while wanting nothing more but to take the leap as you have. I admire your content so much and your talents as a youtuber and digital nomad in general. Sometimes I feel the impulse to start a channel also following my adventures and lifes perspective.
Hello! I just wanted to thank you, Zoey, for being so open and honest on your RUclips channel. I have been following you since the beginning of the year, and out of all your amazing videos (I've loved a bunch, btw), this one spoke to me the most. You encouraged me through your story that I want to start a RUclips channel myself, and your excitement and positive enthusiasm give me hope and courage that I can do this!
Zoey, I always enjoy watching your videos. Thank you very much for creating great contents. Watching your videos is like reading self-help books 😊 Keep up the good work. Much love from Tokyo!
Good morning my beautiful, Zo🌞 I am so happy you followed your bliss! I giggled so hard when you mentioned meeting Rudy Giuliani...that was a really fun day 😉 It's amazing how we've both changed and grown for the better these past few years. Imagine what the next 3 years will be like! See you soon Bella 💛🌞💫
Oh I can totally relate to feeling more comfortable going out of your comfort zone when the people who you think might judge a little a far away ;) This was so inspiring Zoey! This was a true story on following you passions and gut feeling which will bring to that what you are supposed to do
Nexopia! Talk about a Canadian throwback! I am in pursuit of finding that thing you love that makes you feel like you lose all sense of time. Sounds wonderful :)
You have a very inspiring story Zoey! I can relate to telling people I want to be something just for the sake of having an answer. Good you followed your heart & found your passion!
Hi Zoey, loving your videos❣ You've got such a bright, warm and genuine energy. Good for you, working so hard and also manifesting your career/s and dreams!!! Also, you just look Soooooo much like Evan Rachel Wood. Does everyone tell you that? Funny that I'm texting with my Dad right now about how obsessed I am with editing and how I'm ready to take the next step, As Well As finally starting the (on camera, as opposed to the fandom vidding) YT channel I've been shyly chomping at the bit to do for ages (spiritual and paranormal content)....and as soon as I finished the convo, you started talking about both✊🏼💥🦄💥✊🏼
Zoey!!! I can totally relate to this. I also decided to pursue a bachelor of arts, and had no idea what to do once I graduated. It has now been 3 years since I graduated, and I still don't know what I "officially" want to do. I enjoy my current job, but I wouldn't consider it my passion. But, I try to see it as a stepping stone to my future. You have to try new things, some which you will enjoy and some that you will not. I think you learn more about yourself from every one of those experiences and eventually get closer to what really makes you tick. You then have to have the courage to pursue it :) I'm enjoying the process of discovering who I am and I'm excited to see where life will take me. Life is such an amazing journey. Thank you for being such an inspiration
Traveling is one of the biggest joys of my life! My sister Natalie and I were actually in Italy in the fall of 2016. We absolutely fell in love with Rome! It was the most amazing trip! Many more amazing trips to come for sure :) xo
Totally get you: I started blogging when I moved to Japan and it started as a way to show to my friends and family what was happening there (but I was always worried about what people would think about it. So silly!) 😘
I understand what you mean about getting in that "zone" where you don't even think about eating. I get that way when I do art. I love drawing, painting, animating and editing, but I haven't found a way to make it pay off yet. I also know about waitressing - hardest job ever! I always give a generous tip now because I know what it was like for me...lol. I have faith if I follow what I love someday I will get to where you are financially. :) I'm happy you followed your bliss because I love your videos!
I feel like taking a trip somewhere. Just anywhere in hopes of finding out what I want to do but the only thing that’s in the way is financial problems.
I just graduated in Sport Science and am at this crossroad or transitioning period. I'm anxious to start working but I'm also enjoying traveling! You offer a lot of inspiration, and I think you'd be an absolutely amazing life coach!
I just started watching, and I love your channel! I am also reading "You are a Badass" by Jen Sincero, and the chapter I just read talked about "doing something where you lose track of time" I am so glad you found yours, it gives me hope that I will find mine soon! Thank you Zoe❤
cuba? 🤔 interesting! Thanks for sharing your life story Zoey 😢😭. I'm glad you made it through and now we get to see your content. I can feel the 50k subscribers soon. Much ❤❤❤

Helpful story and following like what it is. You will become a great life coach cuz you are intelligent and honest With your self and love to help others and you can see the good things and you make it easy for others by being simply honest
Hi Zoey, you & I are very similar as I also live to help people & to inspire & have very similar work & life experiences to you... Your video is so great, thanks for sharing your story! I’ve just started a RUclips initially about products too. I hope it’ll be as successful as yours!
Hi Zoey!! I love your story :) I feel like this video should be required viewing for any young student about to enter university or young professional trying to navigate the beginning of a career. I would love to share my story (there are a lot of similarities :) but, I think this comment would be much too long! I really liked the part when you talked about transferring the skills that you had and loved to do the most into a career. I think this is the biggest problem for a lot of people today unfortunately. You talked recently about empowerment in 2021. I would like to empower other people. It is my hope that, upon returning to Toronto, I can start a project to help people within the community. I've been thinking about it for a long time, and how I can use my skills to help others. Anyways, have a wonderful day. I hope the sun is out in Toronto and the weather is nice. Much love! Ciao!!
As soon as I heard you moved to Toronto, Im like hell yeah Toronto awesome! As soon as I heard you went to George Brown College, Im like WHAT HELL YEAH! GEORGE BROWN HAHAHAHHA! I'm also currently a George Brown Student !! I;m so happy I ran into this video... who knew huh? Seeking inspiration turns into an awesome connection.
Hi Zoey! Finally subscribed. Have been tuning in for a while. Just listened to this one on passion and you were talking at one point about how you found yourself in "the zone." There is a great book on that called FLOW, by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. I can so relate to this. I'm a coach and when I am doing that, or writing about emotional intelligence, I am totally in another place where there is no time and I forget where I am. So glad you have found that in your life! And keep the videos coming! Cynthia
+Cynthia Shepherd I love book recommendations Cynthia! Thank you for this and for subscribing 😊 it means so much to me! Especially coming from a coach ❤
I like having a real job that pays my bills separate from my passion. Sometimes when you do your passion all the time it takes the fun and joy out of it trying to make a career out of it. Especially if it does not pay enough to live off
I relate to so much in this video. I studied art in college simply because I was interested in it, and like you said, I wanted to follow the "bliss". I was a waitress in school and when I was able to quit, I felt the same relief you described. And in school, I found out that working on the computer (much to my dismay) left me with no sense of time. When I got out of school with a BFA, I had no idea what the next step would be, but I've been coming to terms with the idea of taking time to study graphic design as I look back and realize that the fine arts classes I took that I enjoyed the most were those that were design heavy. I also want to start a RUclips channel. You inspired me from one of your videos to make it a new years resolution of mine, and I want to thank you for that, and for just being so inspiring in general. That being said, do you have any tips for me? I'd greatly appreciate them, especially since I envision my content being similar to yours. (I'm a vegan, I love to travel, and I'm currently walking the path of minimalism.) Your videos are so refreshing and positive, and you have quickly become one of my top favorite RUclipsrs since subscribing just a couple of weeks ago.

I am about to graduate university with a Bachelor of Arts and I have no idea what I want to do. You're in the ZOne !! 😉 I need to follow my bliss. I'm nutrition but I'm scared to pursue it because I don't know if people are willing to have a plus size nutritionist? Im not sure what other paths nutrition knowledge can take you. I work in accounting and it doesn't spark joy.
Ms. Judi!
Hi, Zoey, I am 41 but still do not know what I am passionate about.
Now you are 43 and you still don't know?
I may have missed something but are you still living in Italy? Hello from Calgary 👋🏼
Still in Italy :-)
I agree that following your passion is key. However, I also have a daughter and I feel a burden to be the best mom I can be for her... which means that my passions have become secondary because of the love I have for my daughter. I am personally passionate about language. I'm a Speech Language Pathologist. I'm taking a break from my career to concentrate on my daughter who just turned one. It's understandable and I think people respect that. But sometimes I worry that when Carmen grows up a little, I'll have a hard time returning to my personal passion. I'm worried I will just want to continue pouring myself into her- possibly home schooling, etc. How would you advise steering away from having my child become my passion instead of my original calling?
That is a great question Paige... I will think about this for you
Zoey Arielle thank you!
❤️
Well done. XoXo
Thank you Doreen :) xoxo
I'm a junior in High school and I want to prepare for it
Internship where? I can't understand what you said Zoey!
I swear people subscribe specifically to dislike
It's a shame they have nothing better to do with their time :-)
Well, dear, it is a question, what do your friends, closest, do for living, parents, etc, closest people of yours. That might give you directions, when you get in details how their lives and whole life organisation with their families go gravity around it, around ther jobs. when you think of that, some clues might come up on the surface. still, more questions and points might be made, like, how do you see your sellf in ,20,30,60 years? or them? can you visualise to details that last point? cause, maby you dont have all the details, lets say, did you know, that when people, avaragely, go to pension, stop , quit workin, they start loseing frends realy fast, health and inteligence. now, start imagining things. I realy would like for you to make most resonable choices for your self, sometimes, it is a road of choices, changing and modulating, continuus road of change, when one thing develops in to another, sometimes diametricly oposite ones. I like you, I realy do. Thank you so much for everuthing
unfortunately my dream 'job' would be lazing around on beaches drinking cocktails and snoozing, don't think anyone wants to pay for that!
Hmmm.... Well.... You could be a tropical resort staff worker? :)
