Thanks for sharing. With help of your video I have been able to replace the abs sensor and have fixed the issue. I ordered the original part on eBay as well, had some trouble to mount it back on but with a little help of some wood and a large metal ring and a hammer I got it back on.
Glad it helped.
Very good info Ian.Thank you for the detailed diagnosis.Recently bought an i10 so useful to know ! Happy New Year look forward to next Video
Hi Mark, thanks for messaging, glad u got yourself the car - I did think of you when this one came in but assumed you would have already got something by now. HNY to u too!
at 4;30 you spin the right wheel, i thought the wires were connected to the left wiring at this time?
At that point we are using the sensor on the right wheel to test the wiring to the left. If u watch again it might make more sense.
Quick question, which app have you used to gather this information? Did you need any additional hardware to connect the app to the car?
The thinkdiag has it's own app. So you need the unit that's plugged into the car's obd port and the app.
@@iofix thank you!
Clever trick with the wiring from one sensor to the other side. How did you ensure you got the correct polarity?
Thanks, I just mentally projected through the connector design.
I believe it’s ac
