I worked with someone that used Comic Sans for everything and I would use New Times Roman for everything, we basically did the same thing but we would send memos to different departments and locations. The Director called us in and said I'm not going to ask who is using this font but on a professional level this looks like it was for a nursery, I don't want to ever see anything in this font again. When we left her office my co-worker looked at me an said "Fun just died today." I had to practically run to the bathroom so I didn't laugh in front of her, she was so serious. She left our department soon after that.

@@HerculesCandy It is! Haven't bought one yet, but the fact that you have whole nuts in it, I can't wait to place in my order. ( I live in San Antonio, Tx and I am waiting for December to roll in and buy from you guys. Probably will still need a freezer pack for the trip over, but buying in December is my safest bet of getting solid chocolates from lovely Syracuse, New York. Writing this in one Monday October 26, and it is finally in the 50s and 60s. But it doesn't last long, these cold bursts in October and November. Fingers crossed on a cold December!) :D
You guys should sell merch that says "don't let gravity happen" I would buy it in a tshirt and sweatshirt form 😂
I'm studying graphic design, a couple of my instructors banned the use of Comic Sans LOL (as well as Papyrus, Rockwell, and Bleeding Cowboy)
if you used a sticker version of the ingredients for the fruit and nut bar, you could just stick it on and close the wrapper rather than using the glue gun (yeah, i know, every man and his dog is a candy wrapping expert, they think)
you could put them out of business if you really wanted to

you should get a tape runner from your local craft store. so much better than glue gun. they are in the scrapbook section
I thought maybe using the ingredient label to seal it might be an idea too. They're already putting the sticker on - might as well have it be informative and help it stay closed.

I'm from Canandaigua and I LOVE Wegmans! I live in MN now (AZ before MN )and I'm always jealous when you mention them. When we go home to visit we go to Wegmans almost daily. ;) Might have to try these fruit and nut bars for my husband if you ship them. He loves a good fruit and nut bar and he would love that it comes in dark chocolate.

I had some assorted chocolates from a local mom and pop candy house. they were good. but yours oh myy way better. I dug into there candy thinking yay I found a local place like Hercules. but didn't taste the same. :(

It's pretty common here in Europe, nuts and raisins in chocolate bars.you should google European chocolates to get some unique ideas. There's Milka for example.

I find it funny that he puts the trays in the fridge after filling them one by one. You'd think it's easier to fill them all up first and then put them in all at once. But I'm sure there is a good reason.

Logistically speaking... you could save yourself some money on your process if you just used your sticker to hold the back together instead of using the glue gun. Very nice candy bars and I might just have to order some!!! :)

why do you use a glue-gun to stick on the label? why not just use sticky labels or double-sided tape?
Erdnussbuttertoast lots of double sided tape and labels don't hold up in cold situations, in my experience if you want the labels to definitely stick, you use glue that can hold up in a fridge or ice packed shipping container.

Patricia Collins they can't ship to Australia. The cold packs only last 48 hours so it would be melted and ruined by the time it got there

Do you have some type of insulator other than the ice packs cause I can't pay like 170 dollars for shipping because I live in 90 degree weather and I don't want the chocolate to be melted
The ice pack and chocolate are in the center of the package and are surrounded on all sides with Styrofoam packing peanuts, which acts as insulation.
