- In part 3 of this Cessna 182 series I take my family on a breakfast flight to Paradise Beach airport! This stunning little airport is situated along the beautiful Eastern Cape of South Africa, and is only a 15 minute drive from Jeffrey’s Bay; the surfers Valhalla. The trip is short but sweet, and we even have a new co-pilot for the way back! Enjoy the sunshine and stunning ocean views!

Do you know how badly you have made me want to go and fly in South Africa now? Absolutely beautiful series of videos.
Your parents are both so proud of you. What a lovely family, and so privelaged being able to do what all of you are pasioned about.. Be save and keep on smiling!
Its nice to hear your Dad give tips on flying, etc. Now I know where u got your inspiration to fly.
Great landings. Nice to see you with your parents. They’re proud of you. Greatings from Portugal, Europe.
Thankyou!!
I love how thorough and professional you are.
I normally choose to watch your videos some 4 or 5 hours after lunch/dinner. It is a lot of fun.
Really like the right wing and the tail cameras. They give a great look on
what you are doing on take off and landing. Love it!
I appreciate your attention to detail when flying.
10 out of 10 landing! Really smooth.
Pragtig 👌 Nice flying Bambi. J bay is where we grew up and spent many summers surfing
So glad you liked our little town and airfield, it really is a special place (sometimes a bit too windy for flying haha!)I'm sorry I missed you! Would have loved to meet you and your family. Please let me know if you are ever in the area again :-)
I do it from the road every day, so nice seeing it from your eyes...
Bambi awesome landing going out just remember what you did to get that perfection and you will get that sort of landing every time. Nice to see you and your family looking well. I am glad that your parents are enjoying flying two bambi just keep living life to the full philip keep safe and well happy flying philip.
Hallo Familie van Roos. Weer een prachtige video. Zooooo leuk om tussen het gebrabbel in het Engels ook dat heerlijke Nederlands te horen. Dank jullie wel voor weer een lekker kwartiertje genieten!
So cool to “meet” your parents, for me the first time in case I missed it from before...South Africa is so beautiful...really cool for you parents and all of us to experience your confidence and skill...I’ve always admired your systematic approach to it all whether sight seeing or taking up jumpers or with a bunch of crazy friends...thank you!! This series is really good!
Your channel is pure aviation joy and I just love it! Thank you for posting!
Your dad is a natural.
Greetings from NYC, nice seeing your parents being so proud of you. That was AWESOME.
Magical! My part of the world. So beautiful! Lovely to meet your parents in the video. 🇨🇭
Awesome. I grew up in Plett and have, as a teenager, canoed, dived and surfed all along that coast, Keurbooms, Natures Valley, Blaauwkrantz, Eersterivier, St Francis and of course Super Tubes at Jeffreys. Great memories. Thank you.
Love your vids Bambi! Keep em coming!
Wow! Such memories! We used holiday at Paradise Beach every year in the nineteen eighties! I know that airstrip so well😃
Such a great video again. This channel should get way more attention, high quality shots and editing. Keep up this perfect work!!
Outstanding scenery .. great vibes
Beautiful views
Stunning images and a wonderful atmosphere inside the plane. Your parents are lovely people, together You make a great family group. Have a great flight!
Marvelous! Please do note the lovely places you spot en route in the description, they are definitely worth remembering and going back there some time.
Beautiful scenery and two perfect landings. Great video !!
I absolutely love how relaxed your flying is. Always handing controls to the people next to you. :)
Great videos!
Tks for visiting Paradise , pity we were not there to greet you
Just after announcing your taxing, in the video parking is a Hawker 4000, lots of experience on that and did my factory training in Wichita Kansas before the first production type even took of.
Oh Paradise Beach is beautiful.........My parents had a holiday home there just as you cross the little bridge in Aston BAy. :)
I escape in your flights... can watch them over and over
Such a lovely country, hope to visit again soon again. Greetings from Luxembourg
Hi Bambi, It is really a good flying of you in the flight Cessna 182 over Paradise Beach. I'm dreaming to meet you and learn to drive plane from you Bambi. Your pilot videos are excellent Bambi
you guys were fantastic, great flying....Andrew York UK
Great videos. I love them all on your channel. So very interesting. I have been in a Cessna on a pleasure flight over Sandown and Shanklin, Isle of Wight, UK. The Isle of Wight has 2 airports (more like airfields) at Sandown and Bembridge and between Sandown and Bembridge is Culver cliff or Culver down which you can go up there and there are some amazing views from the cliff. It does feel strange looking down from Culver cliff and seeing planes take off at Bembridge and I did enjoy watching the planes take off and land at Sandown airport. If you can then you should fly over the Isle of Wight, the views are amazing especially Alum Bay and the Needles.
I can't wait for the next video. Thank you for posting them.
I wish you all to stay safe.
What a great trip; I'm green with envy as I know al the places you are visiting!
Zulke mooie beelden,
Groetjes Maren🌸🌊⭐️
Here in western Canada we have to chase bears, moose and elk off the runways /roads before we put the wheels down , always interesting flying in remote areas.
Love the 182, 4 up and no problem!! Interesting to hear the stall Warner on rotation. I flew a DA40 for a while and the stall Warner was way too sensitive, used to go off easily 10 knots to early, very distracting. Great video as always, thanks for sharing.
Another great trip and the flying skills are obviously there. I can see that you love your food and as I always say "Get in the buffet queue behind the girls and you'll go hungry". Regards, Two Jabs Jim in NI UK
You flew right over Tsitsikamma Caravan camping spot >. big favorite of mine
Another fantastic video. Thanks a lot and all the best from Germany 🇩🇪! Ludger
Looking forward to the next vlog 😊😎👍
Hello, from Arizona, USA
You guys are Awesome!!
Love your Chanel!!
It is a beautiful video, just like the previous ones. I really liked the coastline navigation and the beautiful aerial landscapes that have been seen.
Air navigation and communications, very well managed, and takeoffs and landings, carried out very smoothly, especially landings.
Congratulations Pilot Bambi !! You are, despite your youth, an excellent pilot.
Kind regards from Spain.
6:12 that's Storms River Mouth. We've camped there before and it's really amazing
Lovely flying series! I think I'm seeing more of my own country here than I've done in person 😱
at 6:50 you are 1000 ft ASL and you tell the taxi 2 minutes! LMAO 😂You made my day!
You and “itchy boots” (Noraley) should meet up. She is a girl from the Netherlands who is touring SA on her motorbike. She is currently in Kwazulu Natal but I’m sure that she will be heading to the Cape at some point in the near future.
Small place. They’re probably within 19 miles of each other.
New to your channel I am really enjoying your content and scenery thanks so much
Great Ride..
Great family. Great Video. Thank You.
Looks like a lot of fun. Nice vid 😎
My dad used to fly down to see us from Jo Burg when we lived in Plett so we often went to Plett airport to fetch him
Leuke vlog!!!🌸✨
Beautiful flight, you must come up to JHB and give the Cirrus SR20 a try next 😋
Loved it …!
What an amazing happy family. I would have rushed over from PE to come and taxi you guys around. Ah. Next time.
Great video! Enjoying the series.
Just maybe an idea, would you add a bit about how to deal with your flight planning and W&B etc for these trips? Would be helpful for us weekend warriors keen to do similar trips!
Awesome...
Bravo
i love your videos
Keep living the dream !
Love your videos👌
I Love your Mom and Dad.
Great vid epic scenery 👍🏻🍻🇨🇦
That was super cool 😃 to watch. Your parents are cool too.
Really cool! 😎
In future flights You could, perhaps, fly a drone in paralell with the Cessna, controled by the copilot. Just imagine the quality of the images captured by the drone.
εξαιρετικη αποδοση
Already three weeks for episode 3. Wait for the 4th is very long....I'm addicted....
smooth touchdown. well done :-)
Did you leave boyfriend on the ground?
4:30 - BF sighting!!
Nice greaser!

I’m in love
We go on holiday to jbay every year. I mostly look forward to go to infoods😂

Jeez, how can you not like this?
Interesting to hear all the air traffic control conversation in English! Is that standard in South Africa 😇?
fantastisch mooi dat vliegen in Zuid Afrika , en dat met je ouders erbij - enjoy :)
*05:05** So in case of Engine out where u can u guys Glide to* !? Ditching?
Try some flying eyes sunglasses, they are very flat on the sides so they don't break ANR seals
Pilot Bambi ni muzungu yetu, ASANTE SANA dada Bambi
Love all your videos, on how many planes are you rated?
Hi Rosita,
Great video again, last time there were zebras on the runway, this time a monkey on the plane ;) I am looking into getting my PPL or PPL(H) and saw in a few of your other videos you were sponsored. Could you elaborate a little bit more about it / and do you have any tips in general to get a pilot license without breaking the bank fully :) Cheers!
Id love to get a map of all the airfields like you have, where did you get it? Id love to put it on my wall to mark where I have been for my CPL hour building
Very nice video like all your videos. Thank you for greasing FAPX (It is used to greasers from us locals) :)
Can't believe how much that wing or wings rather moved when your dad shook it. I guess it's normal but still wow lol. Can't wait for part 4.
i'll do it in dutch: leuke video weer, mooi land Zuid Afrika :) hoop daar nog eens op vakantie te gaan :)
1:57 in: "No signs of fuel." Wow, this is going to be a short video! :D

Awesome series, Rosita! 🤙🏻 Great fun to bring along family on flying trips! Makes me wonder to get my PPL(A) after all 🤔😋 Well, I do enjoy myself with RPL-MLA, but some extra capacity to bring along PAX is nice, right?
Have you posted Part 4 yet (not sure if I’ve missed it?!)
