@Neet Kun They will eventually raise the hard level caps just like they did in Honkai and just like every gacha game does eventually. These games will not allow you to hit hard caps in progression for very long, they probably just realize that at the current rate whales will hit AR60 before they plan on raising those caps. There's also a lot of things that point towards this, such as having a max talent level of 15 despite it being literally impossible to get there. Also things like datamining weapon coding shows up to two hidden affixes on every weapon(probably for future customization of weapons by players with stat infusion etc.) as well as two spots for main stats despite no weapon currently having more than one main stat. Either way it's pretty much guaranteed they will eventually introduce 6* character/weapon ascensions and whatnot which is standard for most gacha and they also did that in Honkai too.
@@jakepayne9707 Well in Honkai they sometimes release "future" versions of the same characters but as separate units(with the old ones still playable) OR you can get ascensions for characters during special story events tied to that character. 5* ascensions for 4* characters are certainly possible in the future, but knowing Mihoyo you're more likely to get a more grown-up version of Amber as a new unit if/when there's a time skip in the story or something of that nature.

i dont even have a better spear for xiao :/ im using prototype crescent (i think that's what its called) with a phys dmg bonus substat that's completely useless. He's fully built now with 8-6-7 talents and he does 17k per plunge with Q, with 60% critrate and 120% critdmg (if i had a critrate spear my critdmg can probably reach 200% but thats just f2p life)
I love this game and I just realized something because of your comment. I actually spend more time watching genshin videos than actually playing it. AR53 here. Sigh* I really wish they add major updates with permanent content soon. I miss doing the main storyline.

If you've never played Gacha before, before you worry about it at all, they will introduce content that will increase levels and also most likely increase AR exp and world level to boot. No leaks needed there. Mihiyo needs to keep the lights on.
They could give us 1 of 3 starter characters - Amber/Kaeya/Lisa to pick up for those levels (or even give both 3), since we will never get those rated up. I think it wouldn't be too generous of them.
@@cyclic7772 Crescent Pike is a type44 (highest base attack for a 4* spear) & has arguably the best passive in the game (the way it works is it counts as an extra hit EVERY hit, so the extra dmg on each hit of crescent pike can crit and also gets physdmg% bonus on the hit) vs. dragonspine spear which is type41 (lowest base attack for a 4*spear) and has an extremely mediocre passive. There's no situation where Crescent Pike would lose in DPS to dragonspine spear UNLESS you're not using Rosaria as a maindps + you're only hitting 1-2 times per rotation AND you're not using her abilities (lol) because of C-Pike's significantly higher base attack--it's also better as a sub-dps weapon who's only doing 1-2 hits since her cryo dmg skills will scale a lot better with C-Pike than D-spine. Therefore, there's no situation where Dspine realistically can beat it.
you can look up calc's of it (I would link but links prob get auto-yeeted)-- ~optimistically~ dspine does about ~20% lower phys dps (prob an even bigger gap in practice since dspine DPS falls MASSIVELY when not used against enemies affected by Cryo) AND around ~15% lower cryo DPS.

I think it's about time content creators going back into their old habit of doing/covering a wide variety of games, including console or PC games. Instead of doing what the majority of RUclipsrs are doing these days -- Only Genshin Impact. Milking out content beyond what could be milk out of. They are hurting their own career as Content Creators, by not covering different games and reaching wider audience base like they used to back in the days before Genshin existed. Good thing, I'm subscribed to Markiplier, MythyMoo, MkIceAndFire, RabidRetrospectGames and many other RUclipsrs, big or small, who stayed strong with different PC and console games, instead of being just like any other RUclipsr doing the same things. Even another Genshin RUclipsr "Mtashed" is finally moving forward with growing his channel by covering PC and console games starting today. If you buy all the packages, you get quite a bit of resin that will half or more the time spent getting to 57. Although, the rewards suck so it’s not really needed.
You know, Genshin doesn't feel half as shitty when you know that EVERYONE suffers, whales included, not just you. Everyone's playing the resource management game, gotta play with what ya get.
I mean kind of...the only thing gatekeeping the whales are weekly boss ascension materials and crowns. AR doesn't matter once you're past AR55 since there's no WL9(currently). For F2P, suffering is deciding which character and weapon you want to devote all of your resin to for the month to get them at least functioning while whales' suffering is how much money will they have to spend to get their R5 weapons. Artifact RNG doesn't even matter that much when you're getting 2-3x as much resin per day. A F2P player can spend all of their resin for a month on a single domain and still end up with a pretty mediocre artifacts unless they're incredibly lucky.
Remember Dark Souls Gargoyles fight? "That's where the REAL game starts" (and after that it's Blighttown, Sens', etc.) The point I want to make and I can't stress this enough! is that at AR60 is where Genshin REALLY starts!
i think they will readjust the necessary exp to level up at a certain point in the future, so all the exp you obtained will automatically convert to the new formula once that happens
To be fair, they had to tack on an extra 10 Adventure Ranks in the 1.2 update. Originally 50 was the max level. So really, the huge jump kind of makes sense.

Honestly this game’s level system reminds me of Black Desert online, there is no level cap but there is a soft cap at 62 because the exp is so much, the highest someone has gotten is like 66

Commissions gives the biggest ar xp plus it gives one resin refresh from primo that you get without using any resin.

If you buy all the packages, you get quite a bit of resin that will half or more the time spent getting to 57. Although, the rewards suck so it’s not really needed.

You know, Genshin doesn't feel half as shitty when you know that EVERYONE suffers, whales included, not just you. Everyone's playing the resource management game, gotta play with what ya get.
I mean kind of...the only thing gatekeeping the whales are weekly boss ascension materials and crowns. AR doesn't matter once you're past AR55 since there's no WL9(currently). For F2P, suffering is deciding which character and weapon you want to devote all of your resin to for the month to get them at least functioning while whales' suffering is how much money will they have to spend to get their R5 weapons. Artifact RNG doesn't even matter that much when you're getting 2-3x as much resin per day. A F2P player can spend all of their resin for a month on a single domain and still end up with a pretty mediocre artifacts unless they're incredibly lucky.
Remember Dark Souls Gargoyles fight? "That's where the REAL game starts" (and after that it's Blighttown, Sens', etc.) The point I want to make and I can't stress this enough! is that at AR60 is where Genshin REALLY starts!

i think they will readjust the necessary exp to level up at a certain point in the future, so all the exp you obtained will automatically convert to the new formula once that happens

The only thing that changes from AR55 to AR56 are the commission rewards. They give a little more Mora and 5 more companionship xp each.
To be fair, they had to tack on an extra 10 Adventure Ranks in the 1.2 update. Originally 50 was the max level. So really, the huge jump kind of makes sense.

Honestly this game’s level system reminds me of Black Desert online, there is no level cap but there is a soft cap at 62 because the exp is so much, the highest someone has gotten is like 66
