Basically, this answers the question that, why compressors aren't required in engines when you are flying at around supersonic and hypersonic Speeds.
The thing which happens is, due to the reflection(Mach reflections) the flow is compressed meaning Pressure ⬆️, and no need of any extra compressors which is in case of lower speeds (Engines needs compressors to do the same).
