Meningococcal: Harper's Story

In August 2019, 11-month-old Harper went from appearing to have a winter cold, to doctors telling her parents that she may not survive, in a matter of hours.
Harper had Meningococcal Septicaemia. While meningococcal disease is rare, for those who contract it urgent medical attention is required.
Harper’s parents photographed her journey and now wish to share their daughter’s story to ensure all families are aware of the signs, symptoms and just how quickly this illness progresses.
