First time I got into TCG was back in Christmas Eve of 2019 where I finally learned how to play Buddyfight on BFA because I really wanted to play the game as I followed the anime ever since it came out but I never had the money to buy the cards and so a thought came to me and was like what if I could play it online, I went through a couple of bootleg Sims that didn't work and nobody played in until I found BFA, built myself a really scuffed Folktale deck just from learning the rules on reading the wiki and from the anime cause I had no friends to help me nor any experience prior I just really loved the anime, I played a game and met one of my closest friends online who helped me learn the game and overall not only get into TCGs but also understand them now.

My first tcg was either janky pokemon or janky Yugioh with the Kaiba and Yugi starter decks. Not playing by the rules was a lot if fun , but wouldn't work, now. I first used Dragon Shields for a Magic commander deck; I swapped them out a few years later for anime design (Konohana Kitan to be exact) sleeves, but I always pick Dragon shield if I'm not using a design sleeve . Kind of strapped at the hip to design sleeves, though 😅. I want to try that apple cider
