I believe it's all about engagement. I had high engagement as stated by the bonus program invitation. I got invited with only 2500 followers

Ads on Reels is different from instream ads that go on videos. You can get ads on reels without those minutes. I have them and i've never had anywhere near 60k. That's my next goal Once I get to 5000 ollowers 😁

Can you make sense of the payout schedule? Example: Earned bonus for May 19 to June 19 - $1,200 then June 30 payment notice is $900. That was really confusing because what happened the month before was a payment of $1,400 when the April 19 to May 19 Earned bonus showed $1,000. This makes no sense to me. TIA for any clarity you can provide

My performance bonus stopped because of a picture, and the picture was a photo of my traditional people, which I explained. Five months later the picture was allowed to be posted and I have asked how I can get my performance bonus reinstated, no reply. I have had some significant activity and asked about retroactive bonus pay? What are your suggestions on this..

Are the Facebook earnings and performance bonus two separate payments?
There are several monetization programs that can each earn separate payments
How many minutes is considered long form content? 3minutes or 8 min like youtube?
Anything beyond a Reel is considered long-form

Nothing you need to do. It does take a while in some cases.
I just got an unsolicited invite for FB's Performance Bonus. But this one says the following "Get paid for eligible comments, shares, views, and reactions on your public posts, except for reels and stories. " I am a heavy Reels user so switching to posts will be a change for me but I'm up to the challenge. I just wish the posts had all the creation capabilities as reels. That's where I'm struggling.
Yeah, it says that because FB monetizes Reels in its own separate program. The Performance Bonus is an additional program for monetizing non-Reels

Good question. Personally I never use FB business pages, so I can't provide steps from experience. FB is clearly moving towards using profiles more and more for business, so I'm sticking there :)

Good question. For me, I use the Performance Bonus via a profile, not a business page, so I haven't personally tried to get multiple pages accepted. That said, there's isn't anything in the program rules that suggests you couldn't do it.

Yes, it's true that FB hasn't released monetization across all countries yet. You'll just have to wait until it comes to your country (hopefully soon!)
Move to the USA. They aren’t going to offer monetization to African nations. The whole reason they are paying the bonuses is that they need content in the feed that they can place ADS in between. If the business paying for ads in the feed doesn’t operate in Nigeria , why would Facebook pay Creators from Nigeria who mostly make content that would appeal to people in their region bonus money or any money to create content. It’s a business.

A little later I discovered that the above program is for pages based in the United States, while I am in Europe, despite all this, the program continues as normal. I'm in it but I feel like I have been shadow banned. I was creating a lot of viral content, but I since I've been in the program I have my posts have been flopping
FB doesn't have incentive to reduce reach for those in the program... It wants creators to be seen. Reach is reduced when FB's community guidelines are violated or when the algorithm shows that content isn't keeping people active on FB.
