    Dude, this was a great video. It is of HUGE value discussing problems; one of the best grow video's i've seen.... thank you for sharing !!

  • @kurlus7930

    I've been using a 4" NFT system for 2 years, 1st a 12' x 12' greenhouse with six, 10' rails and then a 40' outdoor system that had four, 40' NFT's all tied together with 150 gallon res. I understand problems LOL. I totally love what you're doing, especially with that wick wedge and grow bags. My outdoor system had problems with root systems that blocked the NFT and caused leaks. Your system could be the answer that I've been looking for. Great job! I'll be checking out all you videos.

    i had similar probs with the citrus. Drop your watering and feeding by about 80%. remove the scoria and just use soil. I've got an entire garden in pots and run Aero and hydro across the leafies etc but citrus needs to run dry and experience stress to fruit well. Love the vids Great work!

    so for the root systems ! put a fish drag line with some loop knots on and a sink on in the pipe, you can then drag the root out if needed

    I think you might be able to use smaller coco bags for the wick wedge system. The roots are spread out in the entire bag, but only on the bottom. There seems to be some unused room.

  • @craigparry5648

    Great video 👍, my mate was telling me about this stuff to add to your system that brakes down the old roots turning them into available nutrients for your plants, many used after the harvest, I think 🥴
    No nutrient lock or stinky toxic water., Sorry brains shut down can't think of what it's call.
    I used hydrogen peroxide in the past once a week to keep the system nice and fresh from any decaying material and and bit of extra oxygen.

  • @tobbefie76
    @tobbefie76 2 года назад

    As for the citrus plants it might be an iron deficiency. Try Iron-II-Sulfate. This might solve it. It could also be that roots might be bad developed and/or having too much nitrogen (sufficating).
