This is an audiobook excerpt of Christopher Tolkien reading "The Children of Hurin" (2007).
The entire main text is narrated by the late actor Christopher LEE in full (8 hours),
with CJRT reading the Preface and Introduction.

Keep in mind that CJRT was then aged 82, though his voice here is still strong and capable.
This would be his 3rd (and final) published reading of his father's works.
CJRT certainly did not make appearance on the audiobook of the final two books (2017 Beren and Luthien, 2018 The Fall of Gondolin).
