I CANNOT draw! 🥲😭
New Paul Clark video = clicking "like" before watching and getting ready to pretend to look like I'm working as I watch this at the office.
I was enjoying this video over my morning coffee and almost christened my iPad with a mouthful when you said you won’t promote on your channel. 😂 as always your videos never disappoint. I love watching how easy you make it all look and you always have great tips to share! All the best Paul
My favorite Scottish castle, EDC. Have hundreds of nights, mornings, evenings, snowy, sunny, rainy and the typical dull weather photos. Since 2009, it has been a place I visit each year minus last year and 2011. I just hope this bloody virus don't tamper with my trip.
"...Quick and natural strokes..." Oh they will be natural after a few sips of Famous Grouse, for sure. Thanks so much for another line and wash!
You are the most generous artist! Thank you for sharing all your details, talent, and sketches.
Greetings from 🇸🇬. I just started doing watercolor last month. This must be Eilean Donna Castle. I enjoy your tutorials very much especially providing us with details of color mix. Thank you.
"It's the wobbly bits that give it character."
I love the way you limited your colour palette, Paul. The castle was well done. There were a couple of times I was thinking, "Whoah, those reflections aren't right!". Or, "That wash on the walls doesn't make sense." Then suddenly you add a little more colour and it all comes together and works. Anyway, I have a mop, a #12, a #6 and some cold pressed Fabriano paper I am going to stretch. Then I am going to follow along with this video. Cheers!
I assume, I am already addicted. No, not to Scottish Whiskey ..... it is to your Wednesday watercolor clips. Thanks so much.
Paul, I know you made a joke about your integrity (I absolutely love your random humor 😂), but you DO have integrity and I’m probably one of thousands who have such respect for you for that alone!
It's Wednesday, it's a Paul tutorial, it's eventually a mystical CASTLE, it's PEN & WASH!!!!!! 😁
My third time watching. Now for painting it. Thanks for your time and energy putting your tutorials together. You have touched so many with an artistic yearning.
Sharon Thrift I am so glad I FOUND YOU. I love castles. These days I am painting from my bed. I am in respiratory failure due to Systemic Lupus. I have a 60 year history with oils and last 25 years with acrylics. I always wanted to learn water colors but thought it was to hard. I have tremors in both hands. Was so glad to hear your remarks about perfect lines. I have the paints you used and agree they are excellent. I am in the loosies group because of the tremors and love it to. Thank you so much for your generosity.
There are 56 thumbs up and 2 thumbs down - why? What is wrong with the two of you? This is fabulous, both the subject, the painting but above all, the teaching. Paul you’re just brilliant! Thank you.
Since I'm still back in the '45, this is a dream tutorial for me! Just hoping the ghosts of Eilean Donan have not made the trip across the Atlantic!
I'm a complete newbie to watercolor painting but have been watching 100s of RUclips "how-to" tutorials. By far, yours are the very best! You give such clear instructions all along the way and your paintings are brilliant! Thank you for taking the time to share your amazing talent, including your sketches. My drawing skills have a long way to go but by carefully studying your sketches, I'm learning so much. Thank you!
I want to visit Scotland again !
Wonderful ink & wash painting...colours capture the Scottish atmosphere
Mr Clark may you stay blessed with this wonderful talent and thank you again for another great video and another wondrous work of art.
