  • Beautiful and calm salon piece probably composed around 1909. Chavagnat was a french composer (1845-1913), admitted to conservatory in 1866 in the composition class of Victor Massé.

So elegant and noble piece from Belle Époque. Could be perfect to open a theater show of Feydeau before the curtains get opened.

Thank you! I wasn’t sure anyone remembers Feydeau…

It is dense and porous music at the same time, dense in the melodic vibration and porous in the emotional pleasure of listening to the musical notes that pass through the soul.

A brilliant performance of a beautiful play. The light, elegant playing and such a bright sound of the instrument cause delight!

Gamma has won my profound respect with his talent, and my heart with so many beautiful interpretations of obscure pieces that he has unearthed and generously shared with his many devoted followers.
LGamma ~ like Ian, I would love to know your method for learning so many incredible works which are always performed with such technical skill and musicality.

I love it, especially the middle section with the thirds. It paints a certain nocturnal and dreamy atmosphere. Very pleasant to listen to.

Again, amazing: can you please one day do a sort of behind-the-scenes for your subscribers who wonder how the hell you do this so fast? the constant selection of choice composers of obscurity (you must have a list, like backed up 100 x) maybe? and then sight-reading are you really that good? Do you give it a once-over then record? If so: bravo, truly. Very clean. So, that's my modest fan request. Excuse me if you've done it already! I think I'm rather new.
