No high rises, no fancy restaurants or expensive vehicles. Simple living of ordinary Chinese presented in an honest way with no fabrication. Lastly, hope they have an enjoyable visit in China. I'm so glad so many people have found and enjoyed these videos, and I'm particularly happy that everyone seems to see my dad and sister exactly like they are: very down to earth but at the same time also super open minded and curious, always willing to try and learn new things, and more impressed with a friendly, open breakfast stall owner than with fancy high rises and expensive restaurants. I'm so happy I finally got to show them the China I know and love, and even happier that they loved it too!

@@LOMO279 yes, I think that's true, it's certainly a very strong taste. My dad and I love Sauerkraut and I think douzhi'er has a very similar taste so maybe that's why?
So impressed with your Papa, he loves all the chinese food and can hold the chopsticks so well 😊 We went to Temple of Heaven 3 weeks ago... its beautiful. And Siji Minfu too 🤗 Thank you for sharing some of the eatery places in Beijing which unknown to tourists.... love all the breakfast places you brought your Papa and sister. Plan to visit Beijing again next year 🤗

I'm so happy I got to show them the China I know and love and I hope you have so much fun again on your next visit to Beijing!

我第一次喝第一口也受不了，吃不下的人会有种类似第一次吃榴莲的感觉，但我克服后就喝顺口了，榴莲也一样😅

兄弟，作为北京人我必须告诉你，不是中国人爱喝豆汁，爱喝豆汁的仅限于北京南城一代，其它城区能接受豆汁的都比较少。我在东城区，我吃羊杂，吃卤煮，也想不起来喝豆汁。
