Ahoy my friends! Today I am going to be building a single team without using ANY Arcanum Costume or Weapons, and showing you guys how to take down the Hard/VH3 Leviathan Fights! This team will be able to get you all the way from Normal up to EX1, where I have a guide that changes already up once the fight gets harder. Same. I just don't have the means to lower the lightning bar quickly enough. The attack kills me even with 165 magic defense, water resistance, 12K HP, mid shields and magic attack down on high. It's insane. I have to wait for some gear / mats to boost my lightning damage.
@@BodhiJMSRyder I agree... but I slept on everything Lightning related. XD On Hard, I can break the bar with Ramuh only - and he does around 29K damage. I also gave Tifa and Aerith a lightning weapon and I have Yuffi with lightning resistance down and attack up and all of them also have a lightning materia. I can beat Leviathan on hard with this - with a rank C. But on very hard I can't get very far with it. So it seems that I have to wait for a good lightning weapon / costume for one of my main characters.

I think rather then boosting so much defenses you should spec your DPS full damage and get that bar broken. Its significantly weakened if you can
