  • The card is standard microSD one formatted to FAT32. The main reason to remove it was the limitation that it's impossible to download files bigger than 2GB. There is more elegang solution for it: using FTP server.

The cards have glue, silicone I think, apply isopropyl alcohol with a cotton swab and wait for it to act and remove the glue, it is removed the same as on cell phones or laptops, press inward and it comes out

I have a Fifish V-EVO and from the start i couldn't record video or make pictures. Turns out the internal SD card was not working.
I replaced it with a 128K one and now it works perfectly.

I'm curious if a larger memory size such as 128k or 256k would work and allow more storage. It would be interesting if there was a way to extend the SD holder using a cable and place an SD socket into the circle opening at the bottom normally used for weights by using some type of water tight pressure fitting. This way, one could open the small circle disc to have easy access to the SD.

I'm sure it will work with 128GB SD card, but I'm not sure about 256GB one. Concerning external housing for the memory card - I was also thinking about it, but couldn't find any appropriate case. Even the original waterproof sealed case for the memory card from Fifish has many complaints about water leaks.

I have problems with the LEDs, they are not burned or damaged, the light intensity goes down, I change the position in the connector and they both work fine, I think it is a problem with the board, has anyone had this problem and solved it?

I have changed both: the board and the lights, then it works. You can start with lights, they are chipper and you don't need to tear down the aluminium case

I have the evo and interal memory card stop working. Will not record. Keep saying no sd card dected. They need to fix and make it so water doesnt leak in and damaged the card. Will it still be water proof after you taken it apart? My worry is once its open the seal wont be water proof anymore.

Sure, no water leakage were detected after repairing. But use silicon grease for all O-rings
