I like watching many chess channels on youtube. Yours is most analytical and informative and not too fast on tempo for proper fallowing of the games. I have got great ideas for improving my own games. Thank you Daniel!
Hello Daniel, I think this new approach of not going for the prettiest move and instead trading queens and showing how to convert the pawn endgame has much more educational value, which I think is the strongest point of your channel, so thank you for doing that! 😃 I think for me as I around 1700, showing how to convert won positions in the simplest way makes the whole video much more interesting, from a learning and improvement perspective. Every content creator is going for entertainment mostly, but I think if you niche down on the educational aspect your channel will explode, because no one else is really doing it so you have much less competition. I like also the gingerGM, Eric Rose and Gotham, but I think they focus too much on the entertainment part, and I just don't learn as much from their videos, if at all. I've been watching every video, thank you for the content.
What a nice stalemate trick in the endgame!! Definitely doing that from now on. Until now I thought the way you win this was to force him to guard the passer and using the time to walk over the other side with the king, eating some pawns and finally promoting. But this is so much more elegant!!
The guy could literally beat these players with 30 seconds on the Clock for the entire game against their full 10 minutes. I find it funny how Chat always worries that his time runs out. They don't realize that he can play a full game in seconds.
I especially appreciate GM Danya’s explanations about the opening moves. As a beginner I can confidently say that yes “openings don’t matter” in a sense, but I can easily end up losing or at a significant disadvantage if I don’t understand what’s going on with the first several moves.
Understanding the opening concepts does matter a lot. Memorizing specific moves as a beginner is a waste of time but if you just have a game plan of how to develop all your pieces in all openings you play and different variations the first half of your games basically plays itself.
Literally would sub to a channel where he wastes five minutes in the first 7 moves explaining shit while the other opponent moves quickly thinking they'll flag. Only for him to turn on the boosters in the last minute bwing down like 6 mins. I love when the opponents think they can flag him but 15 seconds is worth more than their 5 minutes. These are the best videos he has
I'm loving these D4 games!!!! As a QG player at 900elo you get all kinds of strange responses in the opening, super instructional! thanks so much for all this great content.
Unfortunately im so talentless that even after consuming all your videos i havent improved a tiny bit, but i still love watching them and its very entertaining 😎
Thank you very much, this series has helped me enormously improve my thinking in chess, Daniel you're a legend and the most wholesome gm in chess community
day 39 of saying you're the man danya. Love your content and how dedicated you are to quality content and making chess better for us andys. Love catching your streams when I can, and you're consistently principled. I'm sure you're making tons of people proud
@@trevorspinosa3846 it seems like a lost tempo but you actually deny the dark square bishop an attack on your knight which has been extemely helpful for me. Its funny at lower elos it discourages players to even use their dark square bishop xD

That endgame technique was super savage. Stalemating the king to force liquidation of the opponent’s pawns!
A good king would have sacrificed himself to save his men 🙂
We demand an entire Bill Clinton speedrun.
This is perhaps my favorite sentence out-of-context of all time.

I almost stopped breathing from laughing so hard at Danya's Bill Clinton impression at 0:27. My chest still hurts as I type.
Chat should have asked what Danya's definition of "is" is
Thanks for making these speed-run videos, they’ve helped me immensely.

That’s not a wrong way to do it he said be careful this way because there is a chance you will stalemate your opponent
Both ways are winning in this case but it’s useful to know how to do the technique he featured
40 seconds on the clock and Danny is just casually coaching us like his clock isn’t red lol 😂 #goated 👑

yeah hes literally a top 50 bullet player lol
Danya for president
I support it
And in a surprising move, USA president takes away the voting rights of players with 1000 games still falling for scholar's mate.
best fucking educational chess videos on the net

Openings do matter if you ever want to be decent at chess
The best part about resigning in a losing position is knowing a new OhMyLands speedrun video has been uploaded.
200 k subs coming soon. And well deserved. Thanks for your great videos Danya 👍
Yes! A new speedrun video! My night has just improved ♥️

This was a SERIOUSLY INSTRUCTIVE GAME. Thank you.
Thanks Daniel for the insight and lesson.

President Naroditsky: 0:25
Thanks coach I have learned a lot!
Gosh these are good. You make chess so so accessible.
Good to see those lessons with Charlie are paying off!
Playing the Jobava/Rapport System all the time, i know very well this kind of positions, it's very instructive to see how Danya play this
LOL FANTASTIC OPENING DANYA. More accents!!!
Great video…as a London player it’s great to see your middle game thought process!

13:43 - Shenanigans
the stalemating trick opened up eyes i didn't know i have
I knew just from reading the title that I was about to witness some unhinged opening play from the opponent :D
Thanks again Danya!
Thanks for showing the "stalemate" method. I have messed up this end game before.
Came for the chess, stayed for the accents
what was the stuff about the gatekeepers please? Anyone??
Oh yeah lol what was that
I never realized Danya was funny until this video
Very instructive
Haha that Clinton impression was class
fascinated as always
pawns are the soul of chess, even danya can't resist trading queens to get to a winning pawn endgame :)
Amazing content with every video
been playing a lot of a3 reverse sicilian for white and im already in love with it. Anyone else play any off beat opening?
haha my roommate plays the Andersson with 1. a3 as well… i find it quite funny because you lose a tempo but its definitely a fun opening
i like the caro kann DeBruycker system basically nobody studies it

That endgame was so cool.
Which rook do we put on D1? A rook or F rook?
A rook. I just dunno if it's the A rook or F rook.
Best intro, by far
Ah cmon danya you missed g8=R at 15:27, how could you
Super pretty mate at the end
I love his impersonations
Should've done g8R# instead of g8Q
Finally some d4 action
Loool clinton impression haha
Great content.

time to invent the Bill Clinton Gambit
Reminds me of the dutch wrong movement order
Elitist gatekeepers must be stopped.
You say Clinton or bush but I was thinking Kanye
as this series progress, I'm now also an 1800 rapid 😆 but on lichess 😅 But I'm cool with it.
Those voices at the start hahahah
Love you bro
The opponent was trying to play c5 but wrongly clicked b5
What are these gatekeepers you are talking about? Can it bite?
The stalemate was scary, not again please
He makes it looks so easy but in my games I never find all these moves.
g8=Q is an inaccuracy; should have promoted to a bishop, and mate in 2 more moves
Where do you teach
Awesome!
Full time GM, Part-time impressionist...
I hope Danya’s not using computer lines to explain while playing.
Nice!
Elitist gate keepers climbing a building in downtown?
"OK so b5 was honestly garbage"
The n is backwards in your logo haha
Endgame was methodical
nice
