    That endgame technique was super savage. Stalemating the king to force liquidation of the opponent’s pawns!

    Hello Daniel, I think this new approach of not going for the prettiest move and instead trading queens and showing how to convert the pawn endgame has much more educational value, which I think is the strongest point of your channel, so thank you for doing that! 😃 I think for me as I around 1700, showing how to convert won positions in the simplest way makes the whole video much more interesting, from a learning and improvement perspective. Every content creator is going for entertainment mostly, but I think if you niche down on the educational aspect your channel will explode, because no one else is really doing it so you have much less competition. I like also the gingerGM, Eric Rose and Gotham, but I think they focus too much on the entertainment part, and I just don't learn as much from their videos, if at all. I've been watching every video, thank you for the content.

    What a nice stalemate trick in the endgame!! Definitely doing that from now on. Until now I thought the way you win this was to force him to guard the passer and using the time to walk over the other side with the king, eating some pawns and finally promoting. But this is so much more elegant!!

    • @nebeyutedla7720
      @nebeyutedla7720 3 года назад +2

    I especially appreciate GM Danya’s explanations about the opening moves. As a beginner I can confidently say that yes “openings don’t matter” in a sense, but I can easily end up losing or at a significant disadvantage if I don’t understand what’s going on with the first several moves.

    • @eliasvonbrille
      @eliasvonbrille Год назад

      Understanding the opening concepts does matter a lot. Memorizing specific moves as a beginner is a waste of time but if you just have a game plan of how to develop all your pieces in all openings you play and different variations the first half of your games basically plays itself.

Only for him to turn on the boosters in the last minute bwing down like 6 mins. I love when the opponents think they can flag him but 15 seconds is worth more than their 5 minutes.
