You do an excellent job of explaining games, even those that are more complex. Rodney Smith, Paul Grogan, and yourself make up what I consider to be the Holy Trinity of board game instruction. Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Greg! ☺️
I have a lot of respect for Rodney's and Paul's work. They've been my inspiration, so it's a real honor for me to be compared to their quality of work. 🙏

Agree with those three. Great instruction. Only one I can't watch is Jon gets games. Even people in the room get annoyed by his voice.

This is 100% the best tutorial for the Imperium games. I've watched many play through videos, but none have explained the rules as well as you have. Really impressed and definitely subscribed! Thanks!

Thank you Nigel for a great game! I really like it a lot, definitely one of the top games of this year for me, and very likely my top deck builder ever. ☺️

Thank you very much for this very complete vidéo about the rules. It answers many of the questions i had after my first game.

Wow, great job! Those are a lot of different rules to chapter.

Once again, you do the most thorough and efficient explanation of a complex game, thank you.
Imperium is my favorite absolutely non-elegantly designed board game.
I think people will be less likely to have a neutral opinion on Imperium, tending to either revel in its layers of synergistic complexity or dismiss it as a Rube Goldberg design featuring complexity for the sake of complexity.
I prefer to play it solo so I can embrace AP without external judgement, plus it can be a difficult teach even without playing the civs with significant exceptions.

It also can have a real frustration factor of having played through a game, and then, realizing you missed a nuanced meaning of a keyword, such as abandon only pertaining to your play area.

      Thank you. :)
And I agree that it's an absolutely fantastic non-elegant game. :D

this game is quite complicated, played a short test game with my friends but we only had time to play a couple rounds and it was alot of guess work
for me, the clean-up phase was the most complicated, but you've explained it quite well, thanks, so i think i have it now
i've watched 3 different videos, but you explained it the best

    Hi Nithrania,
    Thank you for the tutorial.
What card sleeves are you using, and do they fit in the storage that came with the game?
    Best wishes / Kalle 🙏

      Thank you. :)
They are Ultra Pro PRO-FIT. To be honest, they're not my favorites but I had enough of them at home, because I needed almost 500. My favorites are Ultra Pro PRO-MATTE.
They fit sleeved in the storage as well, but I have both boxes and put all the cards into one box with two hand-made cardboard trays and dividers. And they also fit there sleeved. :)
