They would've done five Bad Boys movies already if Martin Lawrence was 100% and never had any health issues... BB 3 in 2010... BB 4 in 2016... Bad BB 5 in 2022. People getting to know Martin through his recent interviews probably don't know that he was naturally the funnier of the two. The reality is though that there should have never been a sequel. The original from 1995 captured the vibe of the 1990s, and that's just not possible to replicate when that time is gone. If anything, they should have done a sequel right away in 96 or 97. With the right script it might have worked.
