Given how this season started, Pittsburgh beating Baltimore to keep a shot at making the playoffs is almost like winning the Super Bowl.
Just a pity KP got taken out the last Ravens game, Mitch threw 3 INT's and they barely lost.
Low expectations now. Squeeze into playoffs. I like making the playoffs as a dominate team. Hopefully it evolves into that

Looking back now, obviously the TD catch was amazing, but maybe the most underrated play of the night was on the last drive when Najee picked up Kenny from behind and willed him to a first down. That's winning football right there. 11:05

What a god damn incredible job by Mike Tomlin with this team. JJ Watt and Cam Heyward are Future HOF'ers alongside Mike. Minkah Fitzpatrick when it's said and done possibly as well. These folks alongside a faithful few are the reason why this franchise stays afloat. Kenny Pickett is coming along and now this Steeler franchise at the moment are looking like geniuses.

They’ve both really broken out in this second half of the season, since the saints game our run game has been real good and I’m all for it, Najee is becoming that guy we thought he’d be and it’s a blast to watch and Warren is just an absolute fighter for yards

Well he WAS playing injured for the first 6 games.
He started running north and south. He has great agility and early on he wanted to dance way too much. Problem is he’s not the quickest lol and he’s 240. He’s finally been running the ball like he’s 240. I think Warren has helped him a ton tho.

Kenny Pickett is the franchise QB that Steelers fans have been waiting for. The way he ran the 2-minute drill was sensational and he’s got his team in position to make the playoffs with help along the way next week

Kenny is a cold blooded assassin. Kenny Klutch!!! This teams is so young and like # 8 will continue to get better. The kid has ice in his veins and doesn't fade in the tough moments. Rookie QBs are not supposed to do in the 4th quarter what he has done 2 weeks in a row. This team has weapons and just needs the right OC to unleash them.
I will reply to you rather than a few above having God in the game. This has been one of the best seasons in many many years, anyone who leaves their seat before the final whistle doesn't get their moneys worth. Tomlin is like a chef, making fantastic food. He is only as good as the ingredients. The B & G (Yes G for GOLD) GM deserve credit for picking Pickett and picking Pickens.

I agree with everything you said, but I believe we need to give Canada more time with Pickett. I think something good is beginning to unfold in Pittsburgh, and we'll see how the momentum carries.
@@Alien_Empathy I see your point. They move the ball between the 20's and he stopped calling the dumb TE shuffle pass. Just have to start finishing in the RZ. Also get the ball to those weapons. The line is coming together, Kenny seems to grasp things so I'd like to see them being more aggressive early like they have been on these last 2 game winning drives.
Tomlin has started three campaigns at 2-6. He's turned them all into 8-8 and never had a losing season. So under appreciated.
With the talent we've had, we should never have been in a 2-6 position.
Under appreciated? You never hear anything but overly-positive things about Tomlin. The media never shuts up about praising him, whether he deserves it or not. Not many coaches with only three playoff wins in a decade get as much praise as him.
I hate to take on a yinzer but with the teams you have had since he has been there, they should have won a superbowl by now and at least made another. While ever he and the owners allow divas to rule the team, you will sit in a mediocre, middledom position which for a proud franchise like Pittsburgh is unacceptable, or at least it should be.

Kenny Pickett has been the franchise QB that Pittsburgh Steelers fans have been waiting for ever since Ben Roethlisberger retired last January , this Steelers team was fighting tooth and nail to have their playoffs chances alive
They get a chance to secure another AFC wild card spot in Week 18 , and Mike Tomlin from where they were at 2-6 to 8-8, simply remarkable .
Going from one franchise guy to another the very next season isn't exactly what I'd call "waiting for ever since" - it didn't even take a year.

Пикетт (QB, Steelers) с каждой игрой всё больше убеждает, что вокруг него создавать команду имеет смысл. Надежная игра под давлением, уменение найти адресата для быстрого паса за мгновение до сэка, железные нервы в clutch time. Парень не в первый раз приводит команду к победе на последней минуте матча.
На выносе запомнился продуктивный крепкий Уоррен (RB, Steelers) и комбинации с быстрыми вкладками, работало эффективно.
Защита Steelers лишь раз дала сбой, когда Heyward (DT) получил персональный фол в ситуации, когда атаку соперника вблизи своей RZ уже остановили и дальше был бы максимум очередной FG. Но персональный фол (вроде DT там кулаком решил помахать), Ravens получают первый dawn делают TD. Было обидно за Steelers.
Когда смотрю игру с участием Ravens, не могу не сказать, что Такер (kicker) бесподобен в надёжности своего удара на любых ярдах :)

Best running attack I've seen from the steelers in a while. The O line was creating great holes for Harris and Warren and Najee had that great catch in the endzone. Pickens and Sims also made high skill catches with Pickett making some great throws. The cherry on top of Minkah securing the game winning interception was very 'Polamalu like'
If we win next week it will make all 17 seasons .500 or better for Tomlin. Also we have a franchise QB in Kenny!! Let’s Goo!!!

@@Ezees23 what is absolutely crazy to me is that the Ravens straight looked at the Steelers tradition and play style, decided "I want that" and became a mirror image to the Steelers and gone on to win multiple SB in a short time period due to this. It was crazy seeing Steelers and Ravens fight every year for #1 defense in the NFL every year from 2000-2010 and the fact those two teams got 4 super bowls when you had prime Peyton Manning and Tom Brady is crazy.
I was "so,so" about Pickett. BUt the last 2 games are making me a fan of him. GREAT 2 minute drive to win the game!
As a Pitt Panther fan I felt the same way his 1st year or so there. He will grow on u. He has that "it factor", and leadership. He's been playing much smarter. Don't forget he was not getting starting reps at camp either. I look forward to next season more

We were 2-6, everyone thought it was over. We come back to win 5 of 6 and have a week 18 that means something. One of the best coaches ever.

This final play at 11:10 really reminded me of Mahomes, really the entire 4th quarter 2 min drive felt that way.
With George Pickens, Pat Freiermuth and Najee Harris, the Steelers can drive down the field almost at will.
We need an elite OC and at least one pro bowl offensive tackle though, if we want to really compete with the Bengals and Ravens for the AFC north.

This was one of the best games I have seen all year and it was a classic Steelers v.s. Ravens game! I loved how both teams ran the ball a lot and it was kind of like one of those old-school games from the 1970s 👍

Jesus, I watched this game and for some reason I didn't realize it was in Baltimore. The Steelers usually have a lot of fans, but never seen it like this against an AFC north rival.

Pickett has had an up-and-down year (and the same in this game), but that late escape and TD throw was such a money play. You need guys to step up this time of year and he (and the Steelers) certainly did.
True but he's a rookie and not in the same situation as Purdy in SF. He has shown that big situations are not too big for him which is something you want to see from your rookie QB. He doesn't blink and has ice in his veins. He seems to have the drive to get better too. We have seen this week after week. I'm all in...
Well, thanks go out to both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens for playing right into the hands of my favorite team, the Cincinnati Bengals. You just made it a lot easier on them. I do have to hand it to Pittsburgh though for NOT quitting in the face of adversity and it was a real pleasure watching them stick it to Baltimore like that. Mike Tomlin is as tough a competitor as you're ever gonna find.

I had really low expectations going into this season, I'm just happy we might stay above .500 with a win next week. Anything on top of that is a bonus! Still haven't quite gotten over how Burfict treated us, but having an AFC north team (or three) in the playoffs is reason to celebrate in any case.
