- WoW SoD IMO is too bursty, its only level 40 atm and we are already hitting harder than level 60 vanilla pvp with 50% less stamina. What do you guys think blizzard needs to do to make pvp a bit more enjoyable?

It does work when WoE is on, its just woe gives -6% chance to be crit by melee so it doesnt proc as much

I think Blizz could increase the stamina on a lot of gear to balance things out
Na they'll probably buff hunter pets
That is only a temporary fix, nerfing the core damage of everything would help solve the issue due to how spell scale

Nah we need the burst with everything being a hard cast. If u wanna really 1 shot people go play resto shaman and run the rune that does damage when u heal u ez win any 1v1

You should see how must dps a full bis enhance shammy does. Just globals clothies no cast required.

Hard to say with how runes and such will work out, atm i think shammy is slightly better, but warlocks getting death coil and more talents may prove them better

Being bursty was always one of the things that defined shamans, the difference is now, almost every other class has a rediculous burst. Enhancement needs tweaking its op, but ele, for me, feels pretty balanced.
More hardcasting needed. Most classes heavy hitting spells are all instant cast so cant be kicked and most of those spells are at like 40yard ranged so unless you're in a lucky spot to LOS there is not much you can do. For a start that would help
if youve played a class with hard casting (destro lock, actual ele) you probably would agree as theyre dogwater in solo pvp. damage needs to be reduced thats it tbh,
From someone who enjoy the pvp aspect of the game the most i feel sod is not for me and i have to quit. Blizzard need to learn from the private servers
If you want competitive pvp go play league or cs2
If pally's bubble they shouldn't be able to attack

They wont manage pvp balance believe me. They do everything according to pve perfomance. Look at warriors. Bis warr at 40 lvl crits 300 on locks with sl. Same vs shamans with way of earth. Paladin vs warrior is a joke more unbalanced than it was in classic. How tf some classes crit around 1k with 2 buttons setup while other classes struggle to deal dmg playing the piano? They set up strange things and their decisions look like they have no clue about pvp at all.
Just make pvp set with % damage reduction vs players or give defensive abilities to classes that need it more.
your intro question has to be a rhetorical one. back in 2005 vanilla classes were not meant for such skills and items.

I was super disappointed with sod PvP. I haven’t played since legion and I wanted to try classic. I have no desire to PvP in classic anymore. I just log and do zf and leveling g on wrath classic hoping I’ll enjoy cata PvP.
I have been pretty disappointed, i heard cata and mop pvp is some of the best so i will definitely give it a shot
u just dont get it this qq is whats keeping us from winning in general just go play era imo :D and stop qq botu the burst and give movement abiliteis allrdy we didnt get shit in phase 2 cause of all the qq i believe and phase 3 i will be fine cause i have 3 level 40s and fire mage will rock but as i said u only hurt urself cause shaman and druid seem left behidn atm :) gg and peace

some spells / classes are very bursty, but, wow classic had always some classes they can oneshot you. i play since 2k4 and pom-pyro mages did over 4k with 1 button, ele shams killed you in 1 global with crit luck, also rogues on cloth, 2h shams with wf proc and so on.... so the problem is, if you change too much, the fun will dont exist anymore. i know that it is sometimes very frustrating, but honestly, i dont want a retail 2.0, i like classic with it´s problems, and those crits are fun

That wouldnt fix the core issue, they name base reduction to damage due to how they will scale
Blizzard should lower the overall damage done by 30%... Not increase stamina, cause that leads to a host of issues further down the line.

Its literally just shamans, almost every other oneshot has gotten a nerf but every spec of shaman can kill you in a global
hunters aimed shot. boomkins starfire. mages arcane surge. all 1 shots off the top of my head. its not just shamans, have a think dude
@@jameslegge3320 ill give ya hunter but, a boomkin has to do atleast 2 casts to setup any kinda big starfire not coming in a global, and arcane surge is once every few mins then theyre useless outa mana. while shamans are still getting buffs instead of nerfs, everything else has been adjusted or nerfed. Think about something useful if you're gunna think then.
