I hope the suffering of the people who actually live there will stop soon. Also I suddenly want to hear some Hungarian throat-singing...even though there is no such thing... 2. Ultimate Good ending: What can I say? Where're RICH. We have our resource-rich mines in the Carpathian Mountains and the lucrative Dalmatian turism. Although its's a bit sad that its at the expense of Croat and Slovak independence (I know they have autonomy, but still) 3. Good ending: Yeah, these are some pretty good-looking borders. I like 'em. Also, as I noticed the name of the country is named REPUBLIC OF Hungary and not just Hungary, meaning that a certain someone DIDN'T decide to change the constitution, which is also good. Although, its still sad that the Szeklers are still cut off from us (the maternal side of my family resides in Szeklerland) 4. Államkonfederáció ending: Petőfi would smile in his grave. Its such a pleasant feeling to see this event succeeding after being told about it in school countless times. Heck, we even have a "mourning day" for the failiure of this and 1956 too. However I don't like the flag, sorry. I'm pretty sure Unlikely Brotherhood is going to trigger some Hugarian and Romanian nationalists
Slavic Ending: The Magyars adopted slavic culture after settling in Pannonia, forming a Uralic-influenced slavic culture and Language, which later became the bridge between Western and Southern Slavic groups.
Math ending: Due to post-WW2 inflation Hungary is a homeland to the best mathematicians in the world. Hungary becomes renowned and honored by the international community for solving every known mathematic problem, which grants them back their Hungarian-majority lands.
Good job on cutting out the countryball thing at the start. I think it detracted from your videos, and I think this is much better. Big love, keep up the good work.
At the least, interwar Romania would have to be pressured to give special autonomy to that Hungarian region in the same way those non-Hungarian regions get in the Ultimate Good ending.
Without a habsburg ending the ultimate good ending is my predered one, please tell me the habsburg managed to hold onto the remaining territories in that one!
I like that except of Anjou-haz ending, all versions of Magyarország were either neighbouring directly or were pretty close to polish borders, even better in the Poland-Hungary personal union. Much love to our Magyar brothers and sisters
Commonwealth ending: Lajos 1, after receiving the Polish lands in 1370, decides to sign a personal union in Pest with the Kotromanic family and hand over the Polish crown to his wife Elizabeth, thus creating a Hungarian-Polish union that lasted until the beginning of the 17th century.
Is there any country in your opinion that was able to achieve Ultimate Good ending as canon ending? Also, I'm surprised with your choice of endings, but to be fair, one can't really put ALL of the endings in three minutes, so I get it. Maybe in a Part 2 video. Very well made video as always! Thank you for making this video, I really enjoyed it! I like it how these endings are getting increasingly obscure the longer you watch the video O.o
If Hungary would have joined Poland, Poland would have also formed union with Lithuania. This would have completely stymied Russian expansion into Europe for centuries, not to mention kept Ottomans from the Balkans. It would have become an Eastern European superstate.
As a Hungarian, although I found the medieval and the ,,hungry Hungary" part interesting and funny, I still dislike this video. The reason why I dislike it is because it is full of Trianon-related topics and endings. Am I the only Hungarian, who is greatly annoyed, that when many people think about Hungarian history, they greatly think of Trianon? Why do many people think that the Treaty of Trianon was a decisive, determining and the most tragic event in the Hungarian history? In reality, Trianon barely did us any negative effects, we only lost Burgenland to Austria, when we signed the treaty. Most of the former Hungarian territories were actually broke away because after the First World War the Austro-Hungarian Empire collapsed and the ethnic territories either proclaimed an independent state or united with other countries - which means, that Trianon had nothing to do with Hungary's territorial losses. I also don't understand why people think that Hungarians are bitter, sad, angry and depressed because of Trianon? As a Hungarian, I am not interested and I don't care about the topic and this is also true for the majority of Hungarian society, many Hungarians do not care with these events even to a small extent - I do not even know anyone in my family or in my circle of acquaintances who are sad and angry, because of Trianon. As a Hungarian, my opinion is that the nations should live together in peace and freedom, without any nationalist, chauvinistic topics - such as the topic about the Treaty of Trianon, which (especially in Hungary) is full of hateful, false information and about which most of the people (especially Hungarians) do not even know the truth - which incite unnecessary antagonism and hatred between nations.
I feel you mate, I am also tired of the whole Trianon topic. I agree with you. You are not the only one. However, Trianon no matter how annoying a topic it is is unfortunately an important turning point in our history. I myself am partially descended from people who live in Székelyföld. My mother is from there. And I don't know which part of our country are you from, but where I live, you can RARELY avoid the topic of Trianon. Most of the my family and my acquaintances think that the treaty was unjustified and was the worst thing that happened to us etc. I mean I cannot go to school without hearing someone from my school saying "Lesz még Bukarest magyar falu", or " mocskos oláhok/cigányok, mindent elvesznek tőlünk" or "visszafoglaljuk Erdélyt". This phenomena, called Trianon Syndrome/Trauma even has its own Wikipedia page. Seriously, you NEVER hear these comments? You are very lucky then and I really envy you. True, we already de facto lost most of our territories by 1920, however it was that said treaty that made the loss official. And even if we look past the treaty itself, yeah, losing our those territories greatly benefitted our neighbours. Romanians of Erdély united with the rest of Romania, the Ukrainians of Kárpátalja united with their brethren in the rest of Ukraine, the Slovaks united with their Czech siblings, Croats united with the rest of the South Slavs. I think its awesome that these groups no longer have to fear Hungarianization and are able to freely choose their own destiny and I am sure you do too. However, their freedom unfortunately came at the expense of us. Before the Great War, most of Hungary's industry and mines were in the Carpathian mountains of Slovakia and Transylvania, which we no longer possess. This ruined our economy, as since we no longer had access to those resources we had to move our economical attention to what was left. The freedom of the ethnic minorities also came at the cost of the ethnic Hungarians who ended up living outside Hungary who were for the longest time at the receiving end of discrimination just because they happened to be the former oppressors. All of this fueled nationalist anger among ethnic Hungarians. The same anger that pushed Hungary into the arms of Hitler. The same anger that is now being exploited by our politicians. Do you know about the Mi Hazánk Mozgalom party? Its literally a far-right irredentist anti-EU ( basically a revived Nyilaskeresztes Párt in all but name) party that is steadily becoming the most popular opposition party exactly for this unfortunate reason. I am not saying that the loss of our territories was a tragedy. Nor am I saying that it was a miracle. It braught good and bad things. I'm sure that Hungary can be a prosperous, rich and free country without retaking any territories. However we are still living with the consequences of a treaty that on the other hand freed so many people but on the other hand negatively impacts us to this day. We ain't Germany. We as a society are very far from getting over the trauma of Trianon. And considering the direction where our education (or well lack thereof) is heading, I don't see us getting over the memory of that treaty any time soon. Anyway, I wish you a long, peaceful, loving life and I hope that one day we can achieve our non-irredentist Good Ending where we all get along. Peace and love for all. Peace and love to Hungary, peace and love to Romania, peace and love to Slovakia, peace and love to Croatia, peace and love to Ukraine, I wish peace and love to everyone!

Edit8: Duchy of Bavaria (555-1623 H) Pannonian conquest (907-910) Kingdom of Bavaria (since 1806) Bavarian-Prussian War (1866)
Edit5: I had some other endings as well but those were not that exciting to be honest. Anyway, a Great Moravia ending would have been nice as well.
edit9: Svatopluk's Legacy/Velka Morava ending: Without the civil war between Svatopluk II and Mojmir II, the Moravians repelled the Hungarian invaders, solidifying their realm as a great power, independent from Bohemia, that eventually unifies the rest of the West Slavs in the early 20th century.
name: Kingdom of Moravia

The Swiss, I guess?
Possibly the USA considering that they pretty much own the richest nation, strongest military and are a Superpower
@@JimmyM1975We technically could’ve also taken over Mexico(if we pursued a even more expansionist view against Mexico). and Canada(if we won war of 1812).
My god some of those endings are too cursed

Very well made video as always! Thank you for making this video, I really enjoyed it! I like it how these endings are getting increasingly obscure the longer you watch the video O.o

Pagan Ending:Hungary never converts to Christianty and never becomes fedual. And still remains good connections with their old routes
İ expected a europe hun empire but there was none(loving our turkic brothers from türkiye btw 🇹🇷♥️🇭🇺)
If Hungary would have joined Poland, Poland would have also formed union with Lithuania. This would have completely stymied Russian expansion into Europe for centuries, not to mention kept Ottomans from the Balkans. It would have become an Eastern European superstate.
Basically foundation for Intermarium project. Maybe in the future :) (I hope so)
Love your videos man🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
Union Romania and Hungary just remind me something 🇸🇨
2:15 The Ultimate bad ending 💀
Ez jó volt!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤

ngl the best ending is the wrong exit one. They would truly be Based nomadic conquerors just like the mongols.
Not really. After that golden era they'd eventually just get subjugated by Russia or China. The present-day situation isn't worth this one period of medieval glory.
