Thank you for tuning in to Winter Creek House by SOS Architecture and Studio Tom. The seamless harmony between architecture and nature in this dwelling truly leaves you in awe. The way SOS Architects and Studio Tom have crafted every detail to blend effortlessly with the surroundings is simply mesmerising. Former Landscape Architect...Siting a building is an important step. This design successfully integrates the Built Environment with the surrounding Natural Environment. Use of High Ceilings, Oversized Floor to Ceiling Glass Walls, and Muted Colors allows the Outside and Inside to Flow between them easily. Interior Spaces are Open and Flow between Rooms. A simple Palette both Inside and Outside helps create a Calming Feeling. The lucky Inhabitants will enjoy this Masterpiece for years to come.
The Local Project is a special channel that epitomizes a focus on attention to detail. The recent focus on properties primarily covered in dark colors is intriguing from a viewer perspective. One can appreciate the change of wavelengths that the eye experiences when viewing such projects without dismissing the (potentially) unhealthy nature dark spaces present. Please consider incorporating properties featuring more life and light without compromising what makes your work so captivating.
Even though the mood and concept of your contents are darker, I am seeing how you showcase those beautiful homes with sophistication. More of this please. 😍💯
Formally express what is what was going on within the house…. huh? What? Architecture jargons way out of control here. It’s just a clean space with some bits of nice furniture. What’s there to express and what’s really going on within it?
A little too dark for me and funny how the architect loves “the way the light bounces off the absolute black” when really it sucks all the light up. Just look at the sconce in the hallway - it doesn’t light anything lol. I do love the land it sits in, though.
Just more proof that nonsensical salesman talk is not limited to real estate agents & car salesman. Architects will also use fancy but self-contradictory words if you pay them well enough. 😂
3:27 It is quite dark, no arguing about that. But the muted mood and unassuming features only add to its appeal imo. 1:40 just watch the wall pop to a shade of brown when the lights turn on - like! 👌🏻
It's strange, throughout the whole video I didn't get any real sense of the layout of the house or how the spaces related to each other (probably because a lot of the video was focused on discussing laminate) but I also didn't get any sense of what the laminate was made of or how it looked close-up (other than it was matte black). Was it a video for the house or the laminate?
Gorgeous but would love to curate a different art collection for the space. The single painting contributes towards a bit of a psychological downward spiral.😌In my opinion, replacing the existing work with a minimal display of few vibrant pieces with nature themes or adding to the current exhibition with pieces expressing a diverse range of personality, color, texture, and emotions would balance against the minimal, clean, de-saturated design of this space.
This building violates this landscape rather than complement it - that giant purposeless concrete slab is the most egregious assault. The dark interior makes me feel suicidal just after several seconds of watching.

Wow! The mood of this house brings such a sense of calm. This could only be achieved with the emended natural light and local environment. Nice work!
One of my top favourites. Elegant, calming and it lets the surroundings speak. A stunning job by all involved ✔️

Amen
The glass wall bring the outside view inside this beautiful home. Really love the open floor plan.
Thanks Local Project

I’m a Goth and a mid century freak I would so love here xxx
Gorgeous space, I can image how tranquil and lovely it would be to live in.
I love the simplicity of this home everything about it is so calming ❤❤
Absolutely beautiful. Quiet, calm demeaner is what I feel when I view the interior. Great job to everyone involved. Wish I was the owner.
I love it- all my favorite color- black everything- its creepy but soothing
I think it's only creepy for those, unable to stand their own mind's chatter when lacking a certain amount of distraction/noise.
Love it bursting with colour
😂👍🤣

Beautiful home. . . . Very serene.
A perfect architectural expression of a central Victorian winter. Bleak and unrelenting.
Восхищение!!! Спасибо за вдохновение!!
This house can fit perfectly a creepy hunted house movie
Lmaooo
I’m intrigued how a hunted house movie would work. It would be quite different to a haunted house movie. I’m into it!

Nah i think your house would be perfect for that 💀
The local project is my inspiration.
Keep being inspirational.
It's insane
Also I can imagine a really good horror movie
What a wonderful home.
Stunning❤
Absolute stunner! A delicate blend of mood and a minimalist lifestyle. If I was a vampire this would be my lair 😎

Totally. Strange house. Creepy. Too black. Not one area looks cosy.
I really love this open 1 floor

Thank you so much - we couldn't have done it without our amazing community ❤️
its like a lovely sanctuary in the middle of the forest
بالتوفيق ❤

architecture looks like my local dentist office and the interior minus the furniture reminds me of a coffee shop to be fair
Soooo creepy! And that poster doesn’t help 😂
Mies would be happy !
It will be really helpful if they also mention how much it costs to build this home.
Santuary house,my heart house ❤
Looks like the holiday home of Batman..
nice place
It's all very melodramatic
❤️❤️❤️
I love it but I can't help but think about the hush movie and I'm scaaared
🙌
clean
😍
🥰
there is a little bit of Mies in this project
DR. STRANGE???!!!!
Total area
The mood it creates is def one of depression.
👍
Not for me, too dark and cold and dare i say creepy. Jet Black takes out any sense of warmth. The materials too are so cold and devoid of feeling.

Everything beautiful except the fact that that gap between wall and ceiling is wrong. If it were 3/6 cm only would be better...
Is it just me or he looks like dr strange 😅
none more black
Looks very depressing and doesn't play with the surrounding nature at all.
What a depressing colour scheme.. not right. Bloody depressing. Concrete slab. Low roof. Boxy. Love this channel but this one is rough 😕
Boring
I can see myself being batman if i could live here.
has the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farnsworth_House vibe :) very beautiful
