Thanks for these videos. You're the best/only content creator for The Show you can watch and get bette. The way you break down your thoughts pitch by pitch helps a ton. Thanks, man!
It's interesting this year, i've seen my batting average go way up with players just playing the percentages. For example: 0-1, 1-1,1-2 count 80% of the time the next pitch is a ball(IMO). While i *stay ready* mentally i dont want to commit to there 'junk pitches'. I found myself getting in better hitting counts with this approach.
BRUH the pitch at 11:52 was perfectly executed but still hung middle middle. Something about pinpoint this year leaves pefect pitches absolutely hanging, it sucks. It's happened to me a lot, too.
Can you explain (sorry if you have in the past) how you’re utilizing PCI anchor? I notice you’re usually using it on the opposite side of your PCI - is this just to help adjusting to a pitch on the opposite side of the PCI? Appreciate you!
Putting the anchor on the outside part of the zone, but setting up inside makes it so that the anchor brings it back to the outside faster without sacrificing precision right at the very end, where it slows down. This makes the pci faster all the way toward the inside, where you need to turn on pitches faster, and more precise outside, where you sit on the ball.
I think regardless of the result in that inning the Cishek decision was the right one, 1 solo HR doesn't swing the game at that point in the game and even though your opponent took some good swings and got a bit of luck, he at that point was not hitting him well, tough decision though if there's a runner on base I think you pull him
Always the best content! You are brilliant Brev! Honestly love these close videos so much regardless if you win or lose… even tho I’m sure you’d rather get that win lol. But please stay doing content brotha and keep that awesome mentality you got. I get way too tilted, wish I could learn the zen you have 🤣
Firstly, I really like your content - it’s great. I’m a new player on the Show this year. Still trying to work it all out. I’m also relatively new to baseball game theory. I really need help on when and where to throw what pitches. Do you have a video about this? For example when to throw a sinker low and inside vs when to throw a slider or cutter etc? If not, would you consider making one? I know most of your viewers probably already understand this stuff but it would be really helpful. Or maybe you can point me in the direction of some other content that would help? Thanks again and keep up the great content 👍
The player of the game, was Qui Qui. That's what we would call Shanquisha. She is definitely *ratchet*. This is why CBREV hates Cap's in ranked. I think she had Jazz Chism's swing too. I'm mad that CBREV never said her name, you ratchet for that. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I been sick with COVID. And this video completely cheered me up after days of feeling like I'm going to die. What a comeback. Great game and great vid as usual
CBrev it’s not the approach. It’s just the game being too inconsistent. You could play better and get 12 runs or get 0. It’s just rng being too much in control.
@@Hacksaw_HIM_Thuggin well I have no experience because this is my first time playing but example I'm near perfect and not not only miss the ball it might not even get pass 3rd then others I pitch down and away slider on the guys opposite hand he is off by a good margin and hits a homer fuck sake, I don't use the pci my eye hand not really work that well at 60 years old but I don't understand it

Cutters in, i like to go *WAY IN*. If i dont, there usually 440 ft minimum distance hit.

Almost didn't see this episode because "WWBD" isn't on the thumbnail 😅
What a game man! I've had so many games just like this and I always panic and deviate from my approach. This is a great reminder to stick with it!
Best MLB content. Stayed so humble, respected your opponent in victory or defeat. All my homies watch Cbrev.
Love this series can't wait for this year!!
Wow what a game
damn nice pulling Vlad Jr. I’ve had horrible luck with packs so far
Thanks for this. I faced Keuchel just now and smashed him using your strategy!
This might be my 2nd favorite video of the year! I think it’ll definitely help my game. Thanks bro!
35:45 “First pitcher of the game that isn’t Keuchel is going to be Cishek” -Brev after putting up 4 runs against Clase

Gotten 100x better at this game from your videos! Thanks for the great content!

I want to send my condolences for you being an A’s fan
I feel like I got a free MLB the Show Masterclass. Great work brother!
This guy is using a Zen or Max for pitching. He's definitely cheating. No way in the hell every pitch he throws is perfect using pinpoint.
How come your pinpoint looks so smooth
The title of this video is the mantra I have to repeat so many times haha
Nobody is going to point out that the pitchers name is Shanquisha Ratchet
What setting is he using to show where the ball is going while he’s pitching??
I think its classic on. Not positive but it should be in the pitching settings
What setting do you use for pitching to get that picture of the ball on the strike zone?
In Settings, go to Pitching, then set Pitching Ball Marker to "Classic On"
Brev in your opinion, who’s better rn Robert or Buxton
I use them both rn. Buxton has been a beast for me and his defense stats are insane
